'Tupelo' is Sam Connew's Alsatian-inspired blend of Pinot Gris, Riesling and some beautiful Gewurztraminer. This is a very well-constructed version of this classic aromatic blend, with good acidity and a touch of grip to offset the natural fruit sweetness of these expressive varieties. It's delicious, interesting and good value, the perfect wine to tuck into with a light meal. Sam's wines are only made in small quantities so get in quick! Most of Daniel Bouland’s old bush vines are rooted in the Morgon climat of Corcelette, in hilly Haut-Morgon to the northwest of the appellation. Within this area, there are several lieux-dits that Bouland now bottles separately, and Bellevue is one of these. It’s a particularly stony (cailloux means stones) southeast-facing site, with plenty of schist running through the granitic, sandy base soil (much like in Côte du Py). The plethora of rock on the surface traps and radiates warmth, and, as a result, this is Bouland’s earliest-ripening site. The vines were planted in 1951 and 1987. This is made the same way as the Bellevue Sable wine—natural, whole-bunch ferment, concrete tank maturation and no fining—though the vines are on different rootstocks (420A rootstock in this case, specifically designed for terroirs that are very stony and have no topsoil). NV Billecart Salmon Brut Reserve, A satiny white mousse sits well over a straw pale gold tinged base that’s finely threaded by a steady stream of delicate bubbles. Strong yeasty baked bread characters intermingle with oily toast, cashew, citrusy honey and brioche notes. Rich yet tense and tightly knit on the finish the palate features mouthwatering flavours of baked bread, citrus, oily toast like characters and yeast lees with some roasted almonds on the dry crisp finish. Long precise aftertaste that has a lingering subtle dried nut element to it. A very dry and focused Champagne that requires some patience.

2018 Orlando Lyndale Adelaide Hills Chardonnay,Purity of fruit underlies this wine with an abundance of stone fruit and lemon pith, however it shows plenty of restraint and precision with its tight mineral acid backbone. A multi layered palate with a seamless integration of oak and a harmonious texture that is an outstanding example of modern cool climate Chardonnay.
