Heirloom Vineyards Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio

"Faintly pinkish hue, as expected given some skin contact winemaking with this variety, as appears to be the case here. True to type aromas of brown-skinned pear and red-skinned apple with a savoury element providing some complexity. Clean and crisp on the palate, the sweetish fruit is well balanced by the acidity and a textural astringency which sits comfortably." 92 points, James Halliday Wine Companion, August 2017.

Flor de San Martín Garnacha Blanca

Spain’s Navarra is full of surprises, producing styles from traditional and oaky to the most modern and fresh. Flor de San Martín is certainly in the latter camp, a brilliantly zippy fresh white made only from grapes grown in high altitude vineyards in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Little rain and these dizzy heights mean lovely intensity of crisp fruit and lifted herbal aromas – flavours that are unique to the region. This white will really get the taste buds tingling! It’s from winemaker Gonzalo Zelayeta, who works his magic at the modern San Martín de Unx winery, founded back in 1914. From hand-picked (impossible with machines) grapes and cool fermented, this is a refreshing glassful. Tops with seafood, salads and lighter dishes.

Sentiero dei Pini Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio is one of the most popular whites in the western world, loved for its refreshing, delicate flavours. Inland from Venice, the high altitude Adige Valley is home to some of the best quality examples in Italy, if not the world. This wine was made by local expert Giuseppe Secchi. He named it after a famous local vineyard - on a cone shaped hill that was once home to a Roman temple, approached by a spiralling path lined with pine trees. Cool climate fresh and truly thirst quenching, this wine displays crisp, pure, lemon and grapefruit flavours, a touch of ripe, white stone fruit and a sophisticated, minerally edge. It's a 'drink anytime' wine but perhaps best enjoyed as an aperitivo, with seafood, grilled fish or summer salads.

Thompson Estate Margaret River Chardonnay

Brezza Bianca Spumante Prosecco

We're always on the lookout for new high-quality Prosecco to slake the thirst of our enthusiastic Prosecco lovers. So, we were delighted when an old friend put us in contact with the Tombacco family. The estate was founded a century ago by Battista Tombacco, grandfather of current owners Cristian and Andrea. This Spumante is crafted from their estate-grown Glera grapes, gently pressed prior to a slow fermentation. Cristian then left the wine on its lees for 20 days for extra layers of creamy complexity to balance the citrus notes, before adding the sparkle. Enjoy tangy-fresh apple, lemon and tropical fruit and zesty citrus, carried on a wave of bubbles. Serve well chilled as an aperitif any time, at a celebration or with light dishes.

Moonlake Clare Valley Riesling

This is classic Clare Riesling that has come directly from one of the finest exponents in this legendary, boutique Aussie hotspot. A very high quality, pristine Riesling, bursting with all those classic lemon, lime and floral notes.

Dandelion Vineyards Twilight of the Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

Peter Lehmann Margaret Barossa Valley Semillon

This beautifully mature 2017, has a Top Gold, 7 Golds and 96pts from Halliday. "Peter Lehmann's Margaret Semillon provides complex drinking and a length of flavour that many producers aspire to. It's a regional classic, and rightly so", as Dave Brooks writes in The Halliday Wine Companion, "All lemon butter spread on freshly toasted brioche with hints of soft spice, marzipan, wildflowers, crushed stone and drying fields. Dry, savoury, long and compelling. Some crustaceans and some of this and you are in a very good place. 96pts. Great Value.”
