Paringa Estate Estate Chardonnay Mornington Peninsula The fruit for the Estate Chardonnay is sourced from low yielding estate vineyards, some of which are over thirty years old. Constant attention to detail in the vineyard and vine maturity produces fruit of outstanding quality. The fruit is handpicked, whole-bunch pressed, and the unclarified juice is fermented in new (approx 30%) and one-year-old French oak puncheons and barriques. This Chardonnay has been made from a small single clone block grown in the Robinson Vineyard at Tuerong. A beautiful chardonnay with great aromatics of citrus, white flower and sulphides. An interesting contrast to our Paringa Estate chardonnays from Red Hill vineyards. We have called this wine the Robinson Vineyard to officially recognize where the fruit has come from and to pay my respects to Hugh's efforts for growing such great quality fruit. 2021 is the first release of this wine.

Paringa Estate Peninsula Pinot Noir Mornington Peninsula The Paringa wines in the Peninsula range are an haut Mornington Peninsulathe emphasis being on the liveliness of the fruit. 'The quality of these wines are often equal to many other vineyards best'- James Halliday The fruit is de-stemmed and fermented in large open fermenters. The fruit spends around three weeks on skins. This cool-climate Shiraz shows white pepper on the nose with dark fruit and blackberry characters. The palate is full and ripe with berry fruit flavour, tight acidity and fine grained tannins.

The purest expression of their unique terroir, their single vineyard wines are the pinnacles of the Paringa portfolio. Displaying black plums and peppery spice, with a hit of cardamom. A full bodied Shiraz with grainy texture and lasting persistence.

Very bright colour; monolithic in proportion with more of everything, handled with great control; dark plum, bright cherry, allspice, game and charry oak intermingle for a heady mix of aromas; the palate relays this conviction with real depth and power on entry, and lightness returns as the flavours cascade from start to finish; needs much time, but will richly reward patience.
