Paringa Estate Peninsula Shiraz Mornington Peninsula The Paringa wines in the Peninsula range are an haut Mornington Peninsulathe emphasis being on the liveliness of the fruit. 'The quality of these wines are often equal to many other vineyards best'- James Halliday This is a classic cool-climate Shiraz. The fruit is sourced from three sites around the Peninsula which has the spice and black pepper characters, that are characteristic of this wine. PARINGA ESTATE The Paringa Single Vineyard Shiraz, Mornington Peninsula Situated on prime ferrous real estate on the Mornington Peninsula, Paringas cool climate produces wines of poise, power and distinction. The purest expression of their unique terroir, their single vineyard wines are the pinnacles of the Paringa portfolio. Displaying black plums and peppery spice, with a hit of cardamom. A full bodied Shiraz with grainy texture and lasting persistence.

This vineyard is typically a warm site, but the cooler 2021 vintage has given the wine a lifted, ethereal perfume more characteristic of the “Up Hill” sites. On the palate too, it is red rather than black cherry, with lively fruit, delicate acid and fine lingering tannins which give the wine great persistence.

Paringa Estate is known as one of the finest small producers in Australia. Pinot Noir is the flagship variety, they also make Shiraz and Riesling. The fruit for this Riesling comes off 20 year old vines, and makes wine of intense focus, structure and finesse.
