Matured in vats and casks for 7 months. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Lifted dark raspberry and liquorice aromas combine with vanillin oak, earth and spice. Juicy dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry fruits carry medium body weight over an earth and vanillin spice back drop. Good flesh and freshness with slightly chewy tannins and a lively dark fruited conclusion. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc. 14.5%

Vineyards from the Northern section of Heathcote were selected, mainly around Corop. The ancient red Cambrian soils of Northern Heathcote are ideal for dark fruited, rich soft Cabernet. Intense dark colour red with purple edge. Ripe blackberry and blueberry characters, cedarwood and liquorish. Soft, rich, mouth coating, balanced tannin, hints of classic Cabernet and authentically Heathcote.

De Bortoli are a much loved wine family for their ability to produce wines of immense value and quality that clearly rises above. Here is another great example with their Sacred Hill Semillon Sauvignon Blanc. All the hallmarks of the blend are evident here; lime and lemon citrus zest, zingy passionfruit and subtle herbaceous notes. A perfect partner to a sunny afternoon.

De Bortoli La Bohème Pinot Noir Rosé is one of the most beguiling labels on our shelves, and the contents held within are no less intriguiging. A majestic pale salmon colour in the glass is followed by lifted aromas of subtle strawberry and even notes of pomegranate and marzipan. The palate is crisp, yet generous with a superb long length. A wonderful wine to enjoy in the warmer weather or as an aperitif all year round.

For more than 20 years De Bortoli have offered bottle quality wines in the convenience of a cask. Here is the Old Tawny that is deep tawny brown in colour with a nose of complex mocha and rancio. The palate has an attractive nutty flavour with a complex aged complexity.

While Durif is not widely grown in Australia but has a loyal following nonetheless. De Bortoli Deen Vat 1 is an excellent example, showing typically deep colour and lots of rich, ripe fruit supported by firm tannins. Perfect when paired with a thick cut steak and roasted vegetables.

A fragrant mix of red and sour cherries, violets and smoky clove greets the nostrils with some earthy stalk like notes also present. Spicy red and sour cherry fruits are both juicy and savoury with notions of clove, earth and dried herbs lying underneath. Fine grained tannins with a fresh elegant finish. De Bortoli are one of Australia's true champions of Pinot Noir, and this delicious example from their La Bohème range is incredible value for money.Pale red in appearance. Cherry, spice, leaf litter and cedar aromas. Medium weight with a plush mix of red cherry and blood plum, lovely structure and silken tannin drive, and earthy umami notes of the persistent finish.

This medium bodied Sangiovese has wonderful earthy notes lifted with the bright red berried fruits and hints of dark chocolate. Savoury on the palate with flashes of red fruit and subtle layered length.
