In the glass the 2014 Gruner Veltliner, (or GruVe as we like to call it) is very pale straw with fine green hue. The nose is lifted with a flinty minerality and a loaf of citrus (more fresh limes than lemons) with a subtle herby peppery and floral notes. Again the citrus is prevalent on the palate followed by a fine peppery note. The mouth watering acidity combines with the fruit and peppery notes to deliver a long and fresh finish. Drink now or until 2025 with careful cellaring.

Hilary Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is a thoroughly modern and elegant Australian Chardonnay that offers a creamy style with subtle flavours and approachable character. The restrained use of oak balances the quintessential Adelaide Hills fruit character which is delicious now, but will reward with careful cellaring over the next few years.

Lyndale Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is a stunning, contemporary cool-climate Australian Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills. In 2018, the Adelaide Hills vineyards of Woodside and Piccadilly provided the balance of softness, generosity and length, together with purity of fruit, fine acidity and mineral precision.

Harvested from 558 vines, clone Gm239, each vine was cordon cut and fruit was left hanging for a further 12 days. The result is a wine with flavours of honey and citrus blossom, full bodied with wonderful length with a hint of oak adds to the superb complexity. Ten months in French oak (30% new), the fruit from one of our highest yielding vintages is brilliant straw green in colour and displays light citrus aromas combined with white stonefruit and a wonderful creamy multi layered finish from extended time on lees. Excellent cellaring potential.

Medium straw in colour this wine by Sidewood displays lifted white peach, fig, pear and pistachio nuts on the nose. This barrel fermented Adelaide Hills Chardonnay offers superbly structured characters. It is tight and lean, laced with citrus lime and tropical fruit characters. Some lovely subtle complexities from careful oak maturation on lees include nutmeg, sage spice and pistachio flavours which linger on the after taste. A lovely crisp wine now, that will benefit from some short term cellaring once bottled. Serve with Asian style broth, mushroom based dishes or Lobster bisque is a great match to this Chardonnays complexity in flavour, but finesse in structure.
