The wine aged for a year in a mix of large and small neutral oak barrels, finishing in a steel tank and a 600-litre Stockinger cask. This process ensures a bright, perfumed, and juicy wine, that's fruit-focused rather than shrouded in oak. On the palate, Tradition Red is soft, smooth, and effortlessly drinkable. This Wild Ferment Pinot Noir is both delicate in nature and also generous in flavour with fresh cherry and rhubarb characters supported by smooth and silky tannins.

Their Giant Squid Ink Shiraz shows brilliant purple hues and violets on the nose and with brilliant use of French Oak, the palate is smooth, velvety and concentrated with all the berry fruit one can handle.

The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes displays an elegant soft pink colour with an attractive marriage of lemon citrus flavours with fresh strawberry and red currant characters.

De Bortoli La Bohème Pinot Noir Rosé is one of the most beguiling labels on our shelves, and the contents held within are no less intriguiging. A majestic pale salmon colour in the glass is followed by lifted aromas of subtle strawberry and even notes of pomegranate and marzipan. The palate is crisp, yet generous with a superb long length. A wonderful wine to enjoy in the warmer weather or as an aperitif all year round.

La Bohème Act Four, a blend of Syrah (Shiraz) and Gamay from De Bortoli. This delicious wine has a soft, textured palate consisting of red and black fruits, spice, bitter chocolate and perky acidity. Well intergraded oak with a lengthy finish.

The Eaglehawk Cabernet Sauvignon from Wolf Blass shows excellent varietal character and structure. Blackcurrant and cassis flavours are complemented by soft tannins and well-integrated oak.

Bright, lush and juicy, Mitolo's Jester Cabernet Sauvignon shows a full bodied palate and mouth filling richness. 20% of the Cabernet fruit is handled in the Amarone manner - a technique of drying fruit which adds complexity and fullness to the wine and produces soft juicy tannins albeit a grainy textured finish. The Jester Cabernet is upfront and approachable for early appreciation, but will also develop with short to medium cellaring.
