On the palate this whisky opens up fudge and Madeira with apple crumble and Calvados. The finish is long and dry with a peppery note. This is a very sophisticated release from The Glenlivet with the Cognac influence being evident.

Yarra Valley makes some of the finest wines in the world. In 2015, Four Pillars combined Rare Dry Gin with some of the best Shiraz Grapes in Australia to create Bloody Shiraz Gin for the first time. 2018 release has great depth of colour compared to previous releases. Flavour-wise it's showing dark fruit, red berry and spice. There is also plenty of that classic Yarra Shiraz white pepper. Ex-red wine barrels that were sourced from Israel's finest wineries were picked for this edition in M & H's 'Elements' trilogy. A ginger-like keynote gives definite warmth to the opening sniffs, leading into a dryish, malty nose with vanilla and fruit sweetness developing. It's more winey in the mouth, where a gentle astringency adds a grippy tactile dimension in tandem with the spices. A malty - red berry thread surfaces, giving a juicy dried berry-like character to the finish. There's hints of dried coconut too, followed by lingering wood spices. Non Chill Filtered. After visiting Cobram Estate during olive harvest we realised olive oil could be a brilliant botanical alongside olive leaf. The aroma, flavour and texture of fresh olive is stunning, and we did a year of trials before finalising the recipe for this gin. The botanicals include a big base of juniper with a savoury overlay of coriander seed, rosemary, olive leaf, olive oil, bay leaf, lemon myrtle, macadamia, orris root, and fresh lemon and grapefruit. Fresh ingredients were vapour infused while the others macerated in the pot. We have used olive leaf and oil from Picual, Hojiblanca and Coratina varieties. This gin is savoury, textual and bright. Perfect for any Martini - Gibson, dirty or dry with a twist. For a longer drink, try it in a Spanish-inspired gintonic, with rosemary and lemon. Fuji Gotemba has won numerous awards including Japanese Whisky of the Year, World's Best Grain Whisky and numerous Gold Medals. The Yamazaki Distillery is Japan’s first and oldest malt whisky distillery founded in 1923 by Suntory's founder Shinjiro Torii. Yamazaki is not only the soul place of Suntory Whisky but the birthplace of Japanese Whisky. Inspired by traditional Scottish whisky, it is said that Torii selected the land of Yamazaki at the foot of Mt. The “Supreme Champion Spirit” award is bestowed upon the most outstanding product from among Trophy award winners across all categories, which means that Yamazaki 25 Years Old was selected as the highest scoring trophy winner out of approximately 2,300 entries which were recognized in the competition.
