Cadenhead's Green Label series are usually single-country blends, sometimes mashed together from multiple distilleries (or stills, or both), mostly from around the Caribbean and Central/South America. The labels offer less detail than the cask strength “Dated Distillation” bottlings, hence, the exact source of this rum remains undisclosed. One can only guess based on the taste as there are three distilleries on the island: Angostura, Fernandes and Trinidad Distillers. This is noteworthy for carrying a significant age statement. 672 bottles produced. 46% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered. Notes from the bottlers... “Fresh and floral with minty notes and a constant sweetness. An interesting and characterful rum that kept the panel wanting more. Mango, herbal, mint leaves, bay leaves. Floral, peppermint, raw Manuka honey”.

The five and seven year old represent the value stakes in an all-rounded Angostura line-up. Initially designed to be utilized in classic mixers and cocktails, they unexpectedly possess excellent balance and luscious textures associated higher end sprits, making them easily enjoyed as a standalone sippers. Comprised of blended rums of five to eight years old, the '5 year old' is the lively expression in a midst of smooth operators, offering elements of fruitiness and ultimately versatility. Tasting note: Straw colour with pale gold hue. The nose is at first subdued, but as the glass warms, mouthwatering aromas of dried coconut, raisins and brown sugar are released. The palate is sensual with superb balance and an almost creamy mouhtfeel, offering flavours of cola, liquorice allsorts, spice and pistachio nuts. A blend of rums from Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica in the overproof dark style. This replaces Plantation’s 'Original Dark Overproof' Rum which was a Trinidad exclusive. "O.F.T.D." stands for "Old Fashioned Traditional Dark". In its conception, Alexandre Gabriel, Master Blender for Plantation Rum, brought together six rum luminaries. After many tasting and blending sessions, they formulated a rum ideally suited for use in top-shelf Tiki and tropical cocktails. Tasting note: Deep topaz, beams from the glass. Super aromatics, with banana fritter, dried mango, dates and molasses up front. Air contact adds pipe tobacco, balsa wood and dark chocolate. Intensely caney / grassy entry followed by raw sugar, liquorice strap, fruit mince pie and all-spice. The alcohol is kept in check. A keenly balanced overproof rum with profound depth and staying power. 69% Alc./Vol.

Bacardi Coconut rum spirit drink is made with a unique blend of BACARDI rum & natural coconut extracts to create a bold & intensely flavoured spirit. Each BACARDI flavoured rum achieves the right balance between the smooth, dry rum & intense, invigorating fruit flavour. Compared to many other flavoured spirits, BACARDI flavoured rums provide a richer, smoother base not obtainable from other base spirits. A blend of white rums provides a light base for BACARDI Coconut. The fresh fruit essences are blended with the rum base by a Maestro de Ron in individual batches.
