Our pinnacle Cabernet Sauvignon is named in honour of Bill Taylor Senior, Taylors founder and visionary, whose ambition to craft wines that stand tall amongst the world's best continues to guide us today. The Taylor family were really inspired by the great wines of Bordeaux, particularly the long lived Cabernet Sauvignons. So with this in mind, Mitchell Taylor expressed a desire to his chief winemaker that Taylors craft an extraordinary wine that represented the utmost refinement of this noble grape and truly embodied his grandfather's original vision.

This is a wine of lovely intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis flavours along with oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice. The tannins are fine and elegant – a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced and complex and lingers beautifully on the finish.

This medium-bodied GSM (Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre) is full of fresh plum, dark chocolate undertones, hints of spice and a smooth, satisfying finish. There is a delicate perfume of Kirsch and dried strawberry with underlying dried bouquet garni. This is a light to medium-bodied wine with a supple yet generously flavoured palate.
