From one of Vinomofo's favourite ever producers, this is a shiraz everyone needs in the rack. Vibrant, flavourful and deeply varietal. A great little wine to reach for a little later in the night, a crowd-pleasing cellar defender with a little more to it than meets the eye. A beautiful brick-red colour with energetic aromas of mulberry, raspberry liquorice and allspice. This is a wine that overdelivers on price and quality. The palate is wonderfully ripe and rich with smooth tannins, a rounded mouthfeel and a surprisingly lengthy finish. A fantastic little weekday warrior or BBQ red with tremendous versatility. A great addition to any shiraz lovers wine rack. In relation to the name of this particular range, "The peak of Mount Olympus where our Adelaide GI grapegrower George’s family originated, is called Mytikas. It also means “nose” which is quite fitting for these fragrant styles which are full of vibrancy and flavour". Honestly, we couldn't of put it better ourselves.

The Thing range is Sorby Adams' flagship Shiraz. It is sourced from a vineyard above sea level in Eden Valley. The low-yeielding crops produced wines that had rich aromas of ripe plums, black fruits and wild cherry with hints of warm spices and vanilla oak. A beautifully balanced wine with a length finish.
