Little Giant Little Giant 'Little Batch' Montepulciano
This Italian variety has found a surprisingly easy home in the Barossa. Somewhere between Pinot Noir and Grenache in style, Montepulciano is a medium bodied style. Vibrant strawberry and cranberry fruits pop out of the glass, The longer than usual ripening period provided softer tannins than we are used to seeing with this variety making this very approachable. The palate is fruit forward laced with freshly picked strawberries, orange peel and white flowers. A very enjoyable red for any occasion! Pair with Duck Breast and Mushroom Risotto!
