The 2020 Garibaldi is a wine we have been contemplating producing for the past 10 years. A 50/50 blend of Nebbiolo and Shiraz made in the difficult year of 2020. The two previous years we had been in drought but this one toppped it of with only a fraction of our normal crop. So enjoy the wine, it is soft and full of fruit from the two countries that Garibaldi loved.

The MCB is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Barbera. The rich spicy Cabernet frrom our vineyards in the Hilltops is smoothed down with the Merlot and then a small percentage of Barbera is added to give the wine some fruit sweetness. This is Grove Estate's popular quafing wine. Geat value and great wine.

The 2018 Nebbiolo was handpicked on the 28th March. This is realativly early for this variety. The fruit was the transfered to ther Cloankilla Winery were Bryan Martin natuarlly ferments the berries virtually undamaged for 4 weeks. The ferment begins within the berry and continues very slowly over time. The wine is then transferred into Oak Puncheons where it awaits bottling.

Our Viognier is a true expression of craftsmanship, hand-harvested from our vineyard near Wombat. This particular style was picked slightly earlier than the fruit we typically co-ferment with Shiraz, preserving its bright, zesty freshness. The 2022 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a standout expression of Hilltops Semillon, enhanced by a touch of Sauvignon Blanc to elevate its aroma and create a beautifully rounded palate. This vintage yielded exceptionally low tonnages, resulting in intensely concentrated flavours and outstanding quality.
