Overaged Malt Whisky is a vatting of single malts aged between 12 and 27 years in oak casks and resulting from a cognac (double) distillation method with a mash exclusively made of malted barley.

Maturing in these hand-coopered vessels has led to intense interaction between wood and whisky. The elegant flavours of this distinctive Barossa old vine shiraz has left its mark. Its a full-bodied and plump expression. Aromas of raisin, ripe peach and caramel meld with red and dark forest fruit characters. Toasty oak and marshmallow have been extracted from the oak barrel staves, leaving a long and rich finish.

Fresh wood barrel dominates the spirit with a touch of vanilla and flowers that bring to breath of nectar, maltose, tones of fruits citrus, Mizunara oak & coffee beans; medium wood intergration, then finish with a sweet aftertaste of maltose. Very smooth, rounded full pallet and easy to drink.
