This special drop expresses the group’s persistence, striving and glorious growth over the past four decades, while honouring the soaring Snow Mountain lying at King Car’s heart. Powerful and dense with rich notes of exuding dark-skinned Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, strawberry, spice and flourishes of fresh charred oak. Thick layers of toffee-rich berry fruits, enlivened with flares of spice, notably pepper, clove and tobacco, all brought together with a magnificent wine character. Master blender Ian Chang said: “It’s been aged in a very rare red wine cask whose majesty transfers to a richly intense whisky, delivering very distinct berry flavours and luxuriant toffee.” Matured in a single red wine cask and bottled at 56.3% and presented in a 1500ml a glass decanter with a Bohemian crystal whisky glass inside of a leather and wooden presentation box .

Johnnie Walker King George V was created to celebrate the Royal Warrant given in 1934 to the Walker family to mark the exceptional qualities of their whiskies. The King George has more restraint and sophistication courtesy of the Port Ellen Distillery component that is powerful, slow and resonant. It initially shows a profound smoky aroma followed by sweet, fresh fruit (apples, pears, bananas) malt characteristics; developing into rich dried fruit and spicy complexity, raisins, figs and cinnamon. For over 150 years, the Dalmore has set the standard in multi cask maturation. Hand selected casks, from the world's finest bodegas and wineries are expertly curated to create a sumptuous and layered whisky of legendary finesse. The 2023 release of The Dalmore 21 Year Old was initially matured in American oak casks and finished in first-fill Matusalem oloroso sherry butts. The casks used to finish this exceptional dram were specially selected by Dalmore’s Richard Paterson. They rested for decades at González Byass in Jerez, where they were used to mature 30-year-old Matusalem Olorosso Sherry, before making the long journey to the Scottish Highlands. This is not the easiest way to source a whisky cask, but the extra effort makes perfect sense when the Dalmore 21 Year Old hits your glass. Seville oranges, bitter chocolate and Colombian coffee tantalise on the nose, while sweet liquorice, black forest fruits and roasted walnuts delight the palate, finishing with notes of peaches, ginseng and pear tarte tatin.

The GlenAllachie Distillery was designed in 1967 by William-Delme Evans and built by Mackinlay McPherson. This was the fourth distillery designed by Evans and was created to be almost full gravity fed to run on reduced energy. The first production run for the distillery was in February 1968 and began with just two stills, further increasing to four after just six months. The first instalment of Billy Walker’s 50th Anniversary Series, The GlenAllachie Past Edition. This bottling represents Walker’s past when he made a name for himself by releasing heavily Sherried expressions to great acclaim, with many Scotch fans believing he played an instrumental role in developing this style category. Combining nine 2005 vintage Spanish Sherry butts personally selected by Walker, the resulting liquid exudes opulence and indulgence with enticing layers of dark chocolate and glazed fig, alongside a banana bread and espresso coffee character. Established in 1994 Sullivans Cove is the quintessential small-batch luxury whisky. Distilled in Hobart, Tasmania, Sullivans Cove single malt is made using traditional methods and 100% Tasmanian ingredients. Inspired by nature and patiently aged the distillers aim to seek the sublime. Each cask is nurtured to it's natural peak, thousands of tiny decisions go into helping each cask reach its full potential. No two batches will be the same and every batch an opportunity for exploration. Tasmania has some of the cleanest water in world, making it an ideal place for producing world class whisky. Tasmania also has some of the best barley growing land in Australia. The combination of good grain and good water is the foundation of all good whisky. 100% Tasmanian malted barley is used to make all Sullivans Cove whiskies. The wash is brewed locally by brewers with decades of experience before being double distilled in a unique, Tasmanian built pot still (her name is Myrtle). The first distillation, known as the "wash run" produces "low wines" of about 20% abv. The low wines are then put back through the still for the "spirit run" to produce a spirt of around 70% abv. This spirit is then diluted to 63.5% abv before it enters into the casks for ageing. The majority of whiskies are aged in either 200L American oak ex-bourbon barrels, or 300L French oak ex-tawny barrels. Allowed to mature over many years in the unique Tasmanian climate - generally between nine and eighteen years. Sullivans Cove American Oak Single Cask is the distilleries most awarded expression, and is overall the most awarded Australian whisky ever. Aged in 200L American oak ex-bourbon casks, this whisky represents the defining style of Sullivans Cove, with a strong malt backbone and flavours of vanilla, caramel, stone fruit, white flowers and powerful oak.
