Under the Hughes & Hughes label, Young Gun of Wine 2018 'Best New Act' winemaker Jonathan Hughes, makes small-batch, regional Tasmanian Pinot and Chardonnay. Our allocations of these wines are strictly limited access this vintage now. Established by Hughes brothers Matthew and Jonathan in 2011, Mewstone produces wines only from the Flowerpot vineyard on the banks of the DEntrecasteaux Channel. The Hughes & Hughes label allows the brothers to explore the island by bringing together fruit sourced from around Tasmania. Dalrymple Vineyards Single Site Swansea Pinot Noir
Dalrymple Vineyards was established in 1987. Situated in the heart of the Pipers River region of north-eastern Tasmania, almost equidistant from Launceston, Scottsdale and George Town. Dalrymples own vines are planted on sloping hills that overlook Bass Strait, and they also have access to vineyards in other parts of the State. This Single Site Pinot Noir comes from Swansea, a popular holiday destination on the coast north east of Hobart, in the wine region of southern Tasmania.
