From The Valley Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

The bouquet displays vibrant characters of dark cherry and plum. The use of French oak adds further layers of complexity to the aromas. The wine has great presence, texture, and length. The palate is long and finishes with powdery, yet persistent tannins. Ripe and powerful, a great Yarra Valley Pinot Noir will also reward careful cellaring.

Helen & Joey Estate Yarra Valley Layla Pinot Noir

2019 Layla Pinot Noir is reflective of the cooler and later conditions of the 2019 growing season. Warmer years produce a more forward and plush style, the cooler years a more restrained, tightly wound and structured version. The aromatics and flavours of this wine are floral with black cherry, herbs, ferrous minerals and floral notes. It’s light yet complex and seamless. Texturally the Layla Pinot Noir is silken. Layla Pinot Noir is a wine that is quite versatile with food. It marries well with a wide range of vegetable and bird meat dishes, and is totally delicious with aromatic spices such as those associated with mediteranean middle east and north Africa.

Fetherston Estate Pinot Noir

Crafted from three premium Yarra Valley sites, combining both MV6 and D2V4 (pommard) Pinot Noir clones. The first parcel was hand-picked on the 20th of February, with the final parcel coming in on the 1st of April. All batches were fermented wild utilising different ratios of whole-bunches, the final blend equating to 25%. Matured in French oak puncheons (30% new), where it saw 10 months élevage prior to bottling.

Fetherston Fungi Pinot Noir

Sourced from a number of Yarra Valley vineyards, fermented in small batches with different treatments (carbonic maceration, partial whole-bunch and whole berry fermentations utilising optical sorting). 67% of the fruit comes from the valley floor and 33% from the Upper Yarra. The final blend equates to 15% whole bunches and 6% new oak, with the residual balance matured in French oak puncheons and barriques from 2nd to 4th fill. The wine saw four months on lees in barrel prior to bottling.

Yarra View Parcel Selection Pinot Noir

This specially selected parcel expresses the very best of the region and has been sourced from Single Vineyards. With aromas of red berries and violet complemented by smooth tannins, this elegantly refined wine lingers on the palate for a soft finish.

Mac Forbes Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

Mac Forbes philosophy towards pinot is to look after the detail, keep it simple and respect the fruit. The onus is on fruit quality and balance and not on winemaking solutions or corrections. For us winemaking is an extension of the vineyard where we aim to capture the fruit expression and carry this through to bottle. We pick when the fruit is ripe but still crunchy to taste. The Yarra Valley Pinot is a blend of our declassified barrels from each of our single vineyard wines. Their Pinot is rich red cherries, raspberries and subtle oak. A firm structure through the mid-palate with fine gravelly tannins and a layered savoury finish.
