Hakushu 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

This wonderful peated Japanese single malt whisky hails from Hakushu distillery, owned by Suntory. The distillery resides in the forests of Mt. Kaikomagatake, with the original Hakushu distillery built in 1973. Rather fittingly, it boasts a fresh and foresty flavour profile. On the nose you’ll find toasted barley, chopped almonds and a little bit of barrel char. Hints of milk chocolate and dried grass bring sweetness. Much more fruit on the palate, but it's by no means a sweet whisky. Still rich, herbaceous and grassy, with a waft of smoke along the way. Nice expression here.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company Oxford Artisan Distillery 3 Year Old Batch 1 Single Grain English Whisky

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels. The Oxford Artisan Distillery has a penchant for using intriguing grains to make its marvellous whiskies. This is a single grain whisky made with ancient heritage grains, specifically corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. What's more exciting is that the whisky is from the very first cask that the distillery filled and is a release of only 189 bottles. It was also given a finishing period in a Sauternes cask, imparting a helping of bright, fruity sweetness. Aromas of fresh baked apple pie lead to flavours of cinnamon and sultanas and a honey buttered toast finish. Bottle Information Batch - 1 Aged - 3 Years

Glengyle Distillery Kilkerran 8 Year Old Strength Bourbon Matured Scotch Whisky

Mitchell's Glengyle Ltd. are very proud to be continuing and adding to the great Campbelltown Distilling tradition and the choice of the name reflects that. Kilkerran is derived from the Gaelic 'Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain' which is the name of the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his relgious cell and Campbeltown now stands. Kilkerran is thought to be suitable name for a new Campbeltown Malt since it was unusual for the old Campbeltown distillers to be called after a Glen, a custom more usually associated with the Speyside region. This is a new release cask strength whisky from Glengyle distillery fully matured in ex-bourbon. Bottled at 55.8%. A floral element, reminiscent of elderflower and heather, introduces this dram. There are notes of vanilla and custard creams and a confectionary note to foam bananas. Notes of cocoa nibs and Iberico ham are introduced on the palate, paired with an earthy peat smoke influence. The development of a tropical note comes through in hints of pineapple and coconut. The peat smoke lingers in the finish along with a digestive biscuit note. Note - item does not come with external tube. In the distillery's words: “It is our intention to reduce the amount of packaging we use across our group of companies, from Springbank and Kilkerran to William Cadenhead Ltd, and that any we do use is produced and procured as sustainably as possible."

Glengyle Distillery Kilkerran Heavily Peated Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Batch 8)

The seventh batch of Kilkerran's Heavily Peated was released in 2023. It has been matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still Japanese Whisky ( Edition)

Product Description: Born from the quiet innovation of Kagoshima’s coastline, this is whisky with a shochu soul. The Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still 2024 Edition is a limited Japanese release that blurs the line between tradition and invention. Produced at Hioki Distillery, the sister site to Kanosuke, it draws on a heritage of shochu-making to create a grain whisky of striking clarity and depth. Crafted from both malted and unmalted barley, the whisky is distilled in rare stainless steel pot stills under vacuum pressure, a method borrowed from shochu that tempers heavier compounds and yields a lighter, silkier spirit. Maturation takes place in a thoughtful mix of new American white oak, ex-bourbon, and re-charred ex-shochu casks, layering subtle sweetness and gentle bitterness in balance. Bottled at 55% ABV and awarded Gold at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards, this release shows why Kanosuke has quickly become one of Japan’s most talked-about producers.
