Great Southern Distillery Limeburners Sherry Strength Single Malt Whisky

Great Southern Distillery Limeburners Sherry Cask Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky has been matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels and finished in an old Australian Sherry cask. From here it is transfer straight from barrel to bottle, creating a full and intense flavour. When served neat, this whisky has fruit and spice aromas, but add a splash of water and you get malted barley, honey and vanilla mixed with buttery caramel and raisins. Each unique barrel will exhibit its own unique characteristics, creating slight variation from batch to batch.

Mars Distillery Komagatake Voyager Estate Wine Finish Single Malt Japanese Whisky ( Release)

This is Mars Komagatake Single Malt ‘Wine Cask Finish’ was produced in collaboration with Voyager Estate from the famous Margaret River region located in Western Australia. Only 924 bottles have been produced. This is the 2nd collaboration and this special whisky is sold only in Australia and Japan. This Single Malt was distilled at Mars Shinshu Distillery in 2016 in Nagano Prefecture and matured in a bourbon barrel for more than 3 years. It was then aged for another 15 months in French Troncais oak. This oak cask was previously used to age Voyager Estate’s flagship red wine, their ‘MJW’ Cabernet Sauvignon, and was sent to Japan in early 2020 once the wine came out of the cask. This special whisky shows the harmony between the world of whisky and wine. The attractive pale red rose colour is evidenced from red wine cask, fruity notes on the aroma with grapes, berry, pomegranate. Elegant smooth mouthfeel with grape fruit character. The finish is long, viscous umami, and well balanced with sweetness.

Benriach 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (New Release)

In 1898, John Duff built the Speyside Distillery, BenRiach. It is one of the few distilleries with its own on-site floor malting and draws its water from the Burnside Springs. This exquisite single malt has been crafted from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and four cask matured for at least twenty one years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks. During long maturation, Benriach’s sweet Speyside smoke mellows and integrates with the fruit, malt and oak. After twenty one years, rich layering develops into an elegant honey smoke, enriched through multi-layered cask maturation. The whisky from each cask type, imbued with particular flavour characteristics, is then expertly married together to create a rich and elegant single malt, layered with lush orchard fruit and toasted pine wood with a honey smoke finish. All in perfect balance. This whisky has a honey gold colour. Aromas of berry fruit, orchard apple, wild honey and mountain oak spice. Candied grape, rich cocoa, smoked pine nut, across the palate finishing with caramelised pear and honey smoke.

Mr. Ken Usami, the master blender at the Shinobu Distillery, selects the selected finest malt whiskies and finish them in casks made of Japanese Oak, Mizunara Wood to create the Shin Malt Whisky range. Shin stands for integrity; one of the core principles of Samurai tradition. Shin Malt Whiskies are well balanced between the woody flavor and incense of sandalwood from Mizunara Oak and the bold aged maltiness, which brings The Shin Malt Whisky a fruit forward and with a bit pepper and spice aftertaste. Significant wood aroma, Mizunara Oak, dark ripe fruit like blueberry, cinnamon. Sweet malty note with significant woody flavor like sandalwood, that brings out different level of spices. All natural without colouring. Non-chill filtered.

Togouchi 15 Year Old Blended Japanese Whisky

Not strictly a Japanese whisky, Togouchi source grain whiskies from Scotland & Canada and aged them in Japan. This is a blend from Chugoku Jozo, who mature their whiskies in a tunnel rather than a warehouse. The temperature of the tunnel is always 15 degrees while the temperature of the cellar at the headquarters in Hatsukaichi city is a little higher than that. Nutty, spicy whisky with a lovely butterscotch mouth feel. On the palate it expresses vanilla sweetness and a fine peat iodine, with hazelnuts and chocolate on the finish. Almost feels like a whisky/bourbon hybrid.

Iron House Distillery Tasman Whisky Port Single Malt

Iron House Distilleries Tasman Whisky Port Cask Single Malt Whisky was matured in port barrels sources from Portugal and re-conditioned in Tasmania. Aged for 4 years, this whisky has a reddish orange ember hue in the glass. The nose has aromas of bold red wine, stone fruit, and buttery, but with a sweetened spiced aroma. This continues to the palate with flavours of dried dark fruit, red berried wine, orange zest, hazelnut oak warmth with hints of ruby tobacco sweet dark chocolate. Iron House Distillery is located at the edge of the Tasman Sea, where the old droving Hut Iron House once stood watchful.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels. The Oxford Artisan Distillery has a penchant for using intriguing grains to make its marvellous whiskies. This is a single grain whisky made with ancient heritage grains, specifically corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. What's more exciting is that the whisky is from the very first cask that the distillery filled and is a release of only 189 bottles. It was also given a finishing period in a Sauternes cask, imparting a helping of bright, fruity sweetness. Glengyle Distillery Kilkerran 8 Year Old Strength Bourbon Matured Scotch Whisky

Mitchell's Glengyle Ltd. are very proud to be continuing and adding to the great Campbelltown Distilling tradition and the choice of the name reflects that. Kilkerran is derived from the Gaelic 'Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain' which is the name of the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his relgious cell and Campbeltown now stands. Kilkerran is thought to be suitable name for a new Campbeltown Malt since it was unusual for the old Campbeltown distillers to be called after a Glen, a custom more usually associated with the Speyside region. This is a new release cask strength whisky from Glengyle distillery fully matured in ex-bourbon. Bottled at 55.8%. A floral element, reminiscent of elderflower and heather, introduces this dram. There are notes of vanilla and custard creams and a confectionary note to foam bananas. Notes of cocoa nibs and Iberico ham are introduced on the palate, paired with an earthy peat smoke influence. The development of a tropical note comes through in hints of pineapple and coconut. The peat smoke lingers in the finish along with a digestive biscuit note. Note - item does not come with external tube. In the distillery's words: “It is our intention to reduce the amount of packaging we use across our group of companies, from Springbank and Kilkerran to William Cadenhead Ltd, and that any we do use is produced and procured as sustainably as possible."

Glengyle Distillery Kilkerran Heavily Peated Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Batch 8)

The seventh batch of Kilkerran's Heavily Peated was released in 2023. It has been matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. This Heavily Peated Batch 8 single malt opens up to a nose that is slightly mineral, with peat smoke apparent from the outset and a malty cereal note. The palate is full of orchard fruits, apple blossoms and poached pear notes emerge, and the peat smoke becomes more prominent on the palate in notes of campfire embers. A long, sweet finish concludes this heavily peated dram. Note - item does not come with external tube.
