This super fine structure frames mulberry and blackberry fruits that cascade across the palate with wonderful exuberance and persistence.

Vibrant in the glass deep purple with bright red edges. The nose is complex and expressive. A mix of red, blue, purple fruits the blend of varieties reflected in the broader spectrum. Oak though present is not imposing itself. Remarkably fragrant. Savoury notes in the tobacco and cedar zone add interest. But it’s not just a fruit bomb—there’s a savoury edge too: dried thyme, graphite, and the iron backbone of old-school Cab. The skin contact gives tannins that are both fierce and finessed—grippy, chewy, and begging for meat or time.

Devil’s Lair Cabernet Sauvignon is complex and layered, characteristic Margaret River lively aromas, fine tannins and subtle oak characteristics. The Devil’s Lair Cabernet shows primary blackberry fruit aromas with a deep core of dark cassis, ironstone minerality and abundant yet supple tannins. The fruit is the work of Viticulturist Simon Robertson who has guided growing at Devil’s Lair vineyards for more than 20 years. The wine spends more than a year on 100% French oak both old and new.
