The palate delivers a rich broad flavour of red and black fruits, with a tannin structure that will ensure this wine will age well. If you like your Merlot soft and fluffy this is not the wine for you. Drink this with a beef lasagne or roast capretto.

Since 1992, Madfish have been producing an exciting range of contemporary, cool climate wines inspired by the wild, coastal and pure characterises of Australia's South West. The grapes for this wine are dry grown on rich Karri loam and gravel soil at the KarriBindi vineyard.Cabernet Sauvignon brings the richness and structure while Merlot contributes beautiful fragrant aromas, complimentary flavours and softness.This wine is deep, dark red in colour with aromas of red currant and plum which lead to a smooth palate of luscious red berry fruits with hints of cassis and coffee bean. It has a succulent tannin structure with fine length complimenting the depth of fruit flavours.

Deep purple colour with lifted, rich and ripe fruit with balanced oak flavours. Medium bodied palate with fine deep tannins and a succulent deep fruited finish.

Intense aromas of blackcurrant, plum, mint, eucalypt and cedar oak. Very rich and full-bodied with masses of dark berry fruit, savoury tannin foundation, fabulous persistence, beautifully balanced oak and refreshing acidity throughout.

A generous cabernet which contains blackcurrant and chocolate characteristics. This combined with a leathery aged background on the palate means this is more than your average cabernet.
