The Westland Garryana 5th Edition American Single Malt Whiskey is an annual release for the Seattle-based distillery. This fifth edition released in 2020 is also part of the newly announced Outpost Range, whiskeys which highlight a central raw ingredient in single malt production with an emphasis on terroir. Garryana's focus is the wood used in its production--Quercus garryana, a native species of oak from the Pacific Northwest. This edition matures peated spirit in virgin Quercus garryana (36%) and the remainder in first-fill ex-bourbon Quercus Alba (American white oak).

First ever release of Sullivans Cove XO Double Cask Brandy is a marriage of ten different casks, each selected for their individual flavour profiles to create a uniquely Tasmanian spirit much more than the sum of its parts. Each brandy in this batch was aged for between nine and ten years in various French Oak ex-tawny and American oak ex-Bourbon casks, distilled from a wide variety of Tasmanian wines including chardonnay, pinot noir, gewurztraminer, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and merlot to achieve incredible complexity.'This brandy starts out with almonds, brown sugar, tropical fruits and white flowers for a wildly complex nose. On the palate, Turkish delight, blood orange and strawberry notes sit on a lovely base of cocoa and vanilla cream, and the finish starts out with fresh fruit salad and moves into fine tannins and nougat that stick around for the long haul. All in all, a full bodied and beautiful brandy with an intriguing balance of topical and savoury.'

Our sixth annual Australian Whisky Advent Calendar is once again designed to take whisky lovers on a month-long roller coaster ride of handmade Australian drams. With more than two dozen whiskies simmering in its belly, the only thing that's left is to grab a tasting glass and a comfortable seat. A total of 25 Australian whiskies are hiding behind the slots of this calendar, each of them handmade in small batches around Australia. This year we're treating drinkers to an in-depth dive into a range of released and unreleased drams from a handful of distilleries. These include single malt whiskies, single cask whiskies, whiskies finished in exotic casks, whiskies made with other grains and more. Some of these beauties have won major international awards while others have never before been released to market. If this isn't a surefire way to kick off the festive season, then we don't know what is. Behind each door is a bottle of premium Australian whisky, presented in one of our signature 30ml matte-black glass bottles. The calendar also comes with access to a set of exclusive tasting notes. The entire calendar weighs over 3kg, which is another reason, other than the obvious one, why it isn't suitable for children. Artwork This year we teamed up with Negin Maddock, an illustrator and printmaker based in Sydney, to showcase ‘The Magpie King’, a linocut print. Linocut is a form of printmaking referred to as relief printing. Starting with an illustration which is transferred to a lino block, the image is slowly and carefully carved into the block. Ink is then rolled onto the block and then pressed onto paper to transfer the image. Once the ink is dry, colour is added by hand. The Coachhouse Cask Strength pays tribute to the temporary location of our distillery when we first moved to Dysart House. The historic coach house was home to our distillery until the new distillery building was completed in 2021. During this time, the coach house played an integral role in the story of Old Kempton Distillery, producing whiskies that will be enjoyed far into the future. This cask strength release is a collection of carefully selected casks that beautifully capture the flavour profile at the heart of Old Kempton whisky. To achieve this, we select cask types from across our range, including Tasmanian Pinot Noir and Australian Fortified Wine casks, and match them together to create a perfect balance between the bright fruit and rich malt style of Old Kempton spirit and the layers of complexity which comes with age and maturation. This whisky drinks well either as it is, or with a touch of water.

Old Kempton Distillery's Small Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky is hand crafted on a magnificent heritage-listed property in Kempton, Tasmania, first gazetted to sell spirits in 1836. Weary travellers would stop at the coaching inn overnight on their ride between northern and southern Tasmania and the local innkeeper would revive them with aq good dram. Today, the tradition continues with Tasmanian barley double distilled through our copper pot stills and patiently matured in small oak casks, creating delicious, rich, balanced Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky - The perfect small cask matured dram.

Bottled at 90 proof, and made with unique 'Sinatra Barrels', Jack Daniels Sinatra Select pays tribute to Jacks biggest fan: Mr. Frank Sinatra. These Sinatra barrels have deep grooves on the inside of the staves which exposes the Whiskey to extra layers of oak. This imparts a rich amber colour, bold character and a pleasant smokiness, followed by an incredibly smooth vanilla finish. Much like Frank himself, this Whiskey is one of a kind.
