Infamous Dodger Albarino
The artistic expression of alternative artists distance themself from the contemporary, worrying not about official trends, but focusing on creative freedom. Infamously dodging the law, paving the way for underground excellence and painting bold dreamscapes of colour. Our winemakers have crafted these wines using alternative varieties and methods, creating fresh and approachable blends unique in their style. This light bodied Albarino exhibits an abundance of pear and lychee aromas, followed by an intensely vibrant palate of fresh fruit, a creamy mid-plate and a lovely long, crisp finish. Best enjoyed when paired with seafood or grilled octopus.
Old Fat Unicorn Chardonnay
A wine with the pizzazz of a unicorn, but the serious expression of a rhino, it will charge the palate with a surprising blend of fresh stone fruit and creamy complexity. Dazzling not just to the eye but to every sense.
16 Little Black Pigs White Blend
Elegant and refreshing with beautiful aromas of stone fruit, lifted peach, zesty pineapple and delicate citrus notes. Crisp and fresh mandarin jumps from the palate followed by pithy lemon. A zingy finish with lingering acidity.
RedHeads Moonlighters White
Moonlighters captures the very essence of the RedHeads concept. Right at the beginning, when RedHeads started in the McLaren Vale, a handful of dedicated, rule-breaking, young winemakers, with a day job at the big corporations, would arrive at RedHeads studio early evening, down a cold beer, then start on crafting a ‘real’ wine, with all the unbridled passion you’d expect from the newly qualified winemaking elite. The RedHeads Moonlighters White is a beautiful blend of rich Chardonnay and aromatic Viognier, with a full nose featuring struck match characters and summer stone fruit. The textured palate hints at apricot nectar, spice and subtle nutty notes, balanced by a mouthwatering acidity.
Way & Cat Viognier
'Catador' means 'taster' in Spanish, and this new label brings you the best from the tasting travels of our wayfaring catador. The Viognier is lovely - bursting with tropical fruit and apricot richness on a shimmering, zesty palate.
Steeple Block Semillon
This classy white is just made for lazy summer drinking. Those lovely luscious grassy, citrussy Semillon characters on the crisp, mouthwatering palate are simply sublime with fresh seafood. Try it for yourself and see.
Angove Bin 7890 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
With 130 years of expertise under the family's belt Angove have plenty of experience to call upon. During that time they have been awarded 'Winery of the Year' and many medals besides for individual wines. Fourth generation John Angove now heads up the cellar that Dr William Angove started in 1886 near Adelaide (by making award winning brandy – a product they're still famous for) and, besides championing unusual grapes, John also pioneers modern styles of wine. This one is simply delicious. Enjoy!
Eight at the Gate Single Vineyard Pinot Gris
Fresh aromas of pink lady apples and ripe Buerre Bosc pears cascade from the glass. The palate shows green apple and chalky minerality finishing with a soft touch of wild honey. There’s a fleshy tension to the wine from skin contact which is beautifully balanced with crisp varietal acidity.
