Archie Rose Double Malt Whisky showcases the bright, grassy fruitiness of malted rye backed up by rich aromas of Aussie fortified wine, vanilla from American oak and the smooth sweetness of local malted barley. Launched in March 2015, Archie Rose Distilling Co. is the first independent distillery and bar to open in the City of Sydney in over 160 years. Featuring Australian native botanicals including Lemon Myrtle, Blood Lime, River Mint and Dorrigo Pepperleaf, Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin is unique in the fact that all fourteen botanicals are individually distilled utilising one of three separate infusion points within a 300L copper pot still. While particularly labour intensive, the result is a perfectly balanced and wonderfully complex dry gin that fuses the old world with the new.
