That Boutique-y Whisky Company Tin Shed Distilling Co 3 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

Tin Shed Distilling Co used a different maturation process for their 3 year old single malt not often seen in whisky production. The whisky was first matured in two small ex-tawny port casks, then moved to an ex-Pinot Gris cask. The distillery is located close Adelaide vineyards, Tin Shed are perfectly poised to experiment with different cask types. The resulting whisky has aromas of cherry Bakewell tarts, dried apricots, and Battenberg cake. The palate is of chewy and thick red berries and toasted malt. That Boutique-y Whisky Company opted for the down under look on this label. Tin Shed founder Ian ‘Schmiddy’ Schmidt is posed in front of his vine covered warehouse. Iron House Distillery Tasman Whisky Bourbon Single Malt

Iron House Distilleries Tasman Whisky Bourbon Cask Single Malt Whisky was aged 4 years in ex Markers Mark American Oak barrels. Aromas of raisin and rum come through with subtle hints of vanilla and a spiced herb oak undertone. A palate of buttery warm caramels heat, hazelnut and oak finishing with sweet dried fruits. A long finish with spiced oils and bourbon heat. Iron House Distillery is located at the edge of the Tasman Sea, where the old droving Hut Iron House once stood watchful.

Luxardo Amaro Abano originated in 1952. Amaro means bitter, and Abano is an old Roman spa in the Veneto region that has been active for the last 500 years. The label depicts the spa around the year 1600. The herbs in this amaro grow wild and are infused along with cardamom, cinnamon and bitter orange peel. Luxardo Amaro Abano is a medium bitter, extremely popular in Italy, and especially in the Veneto region, drunk straight after a meal with or without ice to help digestion.

Archie Rose Distilling Co Single Malt Australian Whisky

Archie Rose Single Malt Whisky is distinctly crafted to highlight six malts, each with a unique profile and character. This six-malt mash bill, although incredibly low yielding, provides a rich and expressive flavour, full of distinct regional character.Matured predominantly in 100, 200 and 300-litre Australian Apera (Sherry) casks, complemented by a selection of Ex-Bourbon and Archie Roses own 36-month air dried Ex-Rye Casks, each coopered with a specific balance of both char and toast.The natural sweetness of these casks complements the savoury charisma of the spirit, revealing fresh herbs, shortbread biscuits, raisins, toffee and dark chocolate on the nose. Meanwhile, the palate is luscious with well-integrated flavours of sticky date pudding and amaretto with a final note of espresso.
