Leon Beer
Leon comes fresh from Cyprus and is a high quality lager made in accordance to the Reinheitsgebot, or the German Purity Law as it is more commonly known as. It is made from three different kinds of malts, barley, roasted barley and caramelised malts which together add to the sweetness of the beer. German Tettanger hops are used to balance the malts in the beer. A special yeast has been cooked up for this beer, setting it aside from other beers. The yeast is key for the developing flavours in the fermentation, which add the fruit to the palate and aroma of Leon. The water is also sourced locally and purified in the brewery to create a truly well-crafted beer.
