Golden straw in colour, Excellia Reposado reveals a complex nose mixing honey, toasted wood, mushroom, dried lavender, jasmine and violet notes. Nine months of ageing in grand cru sauternes wine casks and cognac barrels provide a round and extensive mouthfeel with rich honey, cigar-box, and caramelized-agave/pumpkin notes. Her tequilas are double-distilled and she uses Bourbon casks from Kentucky. This anejo tequila is aged 16 months. It features a very satisfying agave rich palate featuring salty and buttery vanilla garnished with oaky smoke.
