Artesanal Cupreata Citrus
Artesanal Cupreata Citrus 500mL 45% 100% Wild Agave Papalometl. 100% Genuine Artisanal Craft Produced Agave Distillate. Artesanal was borne to exclusively represent and support female and ultra small mezcal producers who incorporate. sustainable organic farming practices and genuine artisanal craft production methods in remote areas of Mexico. As the majority of female & ultra small producers are financially and technologically not capable of registering their IP as a commercial brand to gain “mezcal” certification from the CRM (Consejo Regulador de Mezcal); they are disavowed and marginalised by their Government, legally blocking them from selling their distillates in Mexico or exporting them to International markets with their products containing the word “Mezcal”anywhere on their bottle labels. The Mexican law stipulates that their products be classified as “Aguardiente de Agave” or “Destilado de Agave” despite employing and incorporating the same artisanal production processes outlined in mezcal production under the NOM 070 (Norm Official Mexicana 070). The Artesanal brand aims to empower female & ultra small produces in a celebration of their prized art while educating consumers by providing all necessary information required to identify, and find a great quality agave distillate. On the back label of each of our bottles, you will find information on the agave varietal type, the artisans who made it, the villages they are from, and all the relevant details of the artisanal craft production processes utilised in their production. Each of our ultra small batch series aids and helps preserve the dignity and way of life of the master artisans in their small rural communities, and is naturally made in line with their native traditional ethnobotanical practices without the use of any additives. 1800 Blanco Tequila
Good taste doesn't come overnight. To this day, 1800 Tequila is crafted and distilled from our original recipe. Hand-harvested from many of the original Weber blue agave fields, 1800 Tequila history honors the place it comes from and the dedicated jimadores who harvest it. After years of hard work and dedication, we're proud to be the world's most awarded tequila family. The shape of the bottles are an ode to the Mayan pyramids found throughout Mexico. The bold trapezoidal shape, like the history of tequila, withstands the test of time. Made from 100% Weber blue agave - aged for 8-12 years and harvested at their peak. The liquid is double distilled, and a special selection of white tequilas is blended together for added complexity and character. The result is a premium tequila with a smoother, more interesting flavour than most on the market. The clean, balanced taste with hints of sweet fruit and pepper is perfect sipped neat, on the rocks, as a shot or in a cocktail. Aromas of fruit, spice, and black peppercorn, the flavour is balanced with sweet prune and roasted pepper with a fruity pepper finish.
