Produced in the distinctive terroir of Hampshire, Southern England, where chalk is the dominant element of the soil, this English Sparkling Wine was made using the thoroughly classic and traditional method, building on the internationally renowned grape varieties that are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. The blend incorporates a majority of Chardonnay, contributing to its finesse and elegance, as well as a large proportion of Pinot Noir, which produces fruit and structure, and just a touch of Pinot Meunier. Pommery style, expressed through English terroir.At first glance, it is a lovely and delicate pale straw yellow in color. To the nose, the key word that comes directly to mind is freshness, but also finesse thanks to the yellow citrus aromas that emerge. The end note is straight and free of harshness, with a well-controlled dosage that leaves no impression of sweetness.

Seppelt have been making sparkling wine in Australia since the 1890s their newest sparkling Rosé, Hooded Woman, has a beautiful, ethereal character that draws you in. The palate boasts further strawberry notes as well as rhubarb and red currant. The Balnaves Coonawarra Vineyard was established in 1975 and is situated at the southern end of the Coonawarra Terra Rossa strip. The Balnaves family arrived in the region in 1855 from Paisley, Scotland and opened their first general store in Penola in 1858.Balnaves have used Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to make this modern Sparkling red. This wine is a blend of complex and elegant parcels from ten vintages of reserve wines, matured in a solera system.Rich and complex with cassis, blackberry and violet, combined with mature Coonawarra Cabernet characters of chocolate, leather and truffle. Ready to drink on release, this wine will gain complexity and softness with careful cellaring.
