Espíritu Lauro Joven is an ensamble made in San Agustin Amatengo, Oaxaca. This mezcal is bright and subtly smokey. In 1999, Guillermo Erickson Sauza decided to bring back the old Sauza family distillery to life. Her tequilas are double-distilled and she uses Bourbon casks from Kentucky. The blanco (unaged) is a wonderfully clean palate with good agave, crisp apple and sweet tropical fruit notes (pineapple and ripe pear).
