Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum is a rum produced by Sailor Jerry Ltd. as a tribute to both the man, Norman 'Sailor Jerry' Collins and the style of Rum 'Jerry' concocted and consumed whilst serving in the US Navy.

An easy-drinking style, taking the distillery's classically rugged character and softening it out, while maintaining the smoky and sweet notes the distillery is known for. More approachable, but still definitely Talisker. Talisker Skye was introduced in early 2015, named after the beautiful island on which the distillery resides. This expression brings with it a more well-rounded and sweet flavour profile packed with fresh citrus, sweet smoke, peppery spice and traditional Talisker maritime notes. It's matured in a combination of refill and toasted American oak casks, with a slightly higher proportion of toasted casks. Perfect for those who perhaps find the classic Talisker flavour profile a bit too much, not to say that Talisker fans won't enjoy it too. Double Gold | 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The result is a surprisingly sweet and smoky dram that blends rich caramel and spice notes with fresh green fruit and soft pillowy smoke. Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the pinnacle of the Johnnie Walker Whisky stable. Created to reflect the the style of whiskies of the early 19th century, it is created using the rarest casks in House of Walker, the largest in the world. The casks are hand selected and set aside for their exceptional quality, character and flavour while retaining the signature smokiness of Johnnie Walker whiskies.

Very aromatic, fortified wine-style nose. Plump rich sultana with subtle but vinous sherried tinges. Not over-powering but clear and direct. Almost a smoky quality once the darker fruit notes subside. PALATE A surprisingly malty firm palate. This structure remains throughout but with layers of ripe pears with cinnamon, ginger and dark sugar notes, each taking their turn to appear as the palate develops. Mild hints of dried fruits finish this off. The maltiness is chewy in quality and effect. FINISH On the finish the dried fruit notes take on an almost blackcurrant tone, more astringent, the sweetness curbed by notes of lemon tartness towards the end.

Triple maturation is the secret behind the award-winning taste of Whyte & Mackay.
