Yellow straw in color, this Cuvée is supple and light displaying notes of tropical fruits, rock melon, mango and pineapple as well as a crisp citrus character with a hint of oak. McKelvey Estate continue to produce wines punching above their weight and with Keith Tulloch as winemaker, its easy to see why. In the glass: Delicate pale straw with green highlights. On the nose: Energetic and zesty white and yellow melon with cashew and fine oak spice. On the palate: Finely structured with elegant white fig and white peach, dry, minerally acidity and long, fresh acidity.

Beautifully refined yet packed full of flavour, Peter Drayton has created another classy Hunter Chardonnay. Vibrant mid yellow. Complex aromas of peach, pear, almond, nougat and flinty oak. A flavour-packed with yet with a classy mix of peach, pear and rockmelon, lovely river rock minerality, touches of marzipan and gun smoke and a complex, savoury finish.

In the glass: Vibrant pale yellow. On the nose: Ripe melon fruit and vanillin oak. On the palate: Shows clean stonefruit intensity with pineapple and tropical depth, lovely oak harmony, creamy flavour balance, juicy acidity and a grapefruit-like cut on the finish.

The Audrey Wilkinson Chardonnay shows layered peach, melon and citrus fruit flavours on the palate, both plush and textured, waves of exotic fruit are framed by a fine line of acid.

This Chardonnay delights with a vibrant interplay of citrus and nectarine notes, subtly kissed by French oak. The natural acidity contributes to its remarkable length and driving energy, leading to a delightful finale of vanilla pannacotta and hazelnuts

Born-and-bred Hunter Valley specialist, Aaron Mercer spent years at Tamburlaine, and had stints at Tyrrell’s and Brokenwood, before setting up on his own. He’s also worked in California, France and Germany so brings a great deal of experience to his winemaking, with a a great small-batch range from premium Hunter Valley sites, Tumbarumba and Orange. This classy, gently oaked Hunter Chardonnay boasts fresh peach, vanilla, and pannacotta flavours and a nutty edge.
