Dense black as night heart with a deep dark red black hue. Wafting from the glass are potent scents of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and cigar box trailed by some black olive, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palate is filled with rich blackcurrant fruit which overlays a back drop of liquorice, cigar box, black olive and spicy dried herb characters. Providing ample structure are sturdily built fine grained tannins. The long generously fruited conclusion complexed by notions of cigar box and spicy dried herbs. Cellar 6-8 years. Alc. 14%

Background aromas of green leaf providing classical notes of powerful Cabernet characters. Blackcurrant, plum and cinnamon feature here, with hints of red fruits and oak usage adding complexity. Beautifully balanced with firm tannins and a graceful, persistent finish.
