Pooley Butchers Hill Oronsay Pinot Noir
The Pooley's planted their first vineyards over 35 years ago in the Coal River Valley of southern Tasmania. In 2013, after working in some of the best wineries around the world, Anna Pooley became the 3rd Generation winemaker of the family business, propelling the estate to critical acclaim. Their vineyards are set on excellent sites that receive very long sunlight hours for optimum ripening while producing fruit with finesse thanks to the close proximity to the cool Tasman Sea. The Butcher’s Hill ‘Oronsay’ Pinot Noir is produced from 20-year-old vines (MV6 clone) on a north-facing slope at 30-100m above sea level. Following a 100% whole bunch fermentation of 21 days, the fruit was pressed to French oak barriques, 40% being new barrels, for 14 months of elevage. Expect a lively acid profile with chalky yet ripened tannin, pronounced weight, aromas of wild cherry, and an underlying savoury character.
Taittinger Brut Reserve Non-Vintage Champagne
The Taittinger Champagne house in Rheims was founded in 1734, and this recent, fine-bubbled descendant echoes that distinguished history. The brilliant body is golden yellow in colour. The bubbles are fine, while the foam is discreet yet lingering. The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. It also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey. Taittinger Brut Réserve, which acquires its maturity during three and four years ageing in the cellar, offers excellent aromatic potential.

The incredibly fine bead draws your attention. Tight and persistent classically formed bubbles. Pol Roger Vintage Champagne
The Brut Vintage displays a bright yellow-gold colour enhanced by a continuous thread of lingering bubbles. The nose, instantly elegant, exudes delicate scents of citrus fruit (tangerine) announcing a beautiful freshness. Later it reveals an outstanding aromatic complexity with hints of peaches, apricots and almonds. The palate first reveals a very creamy and full-bodied texture. The immediate impression of freshness gives way to an unctuous and well-balanced structure offering aromas of fresh biscuits and ripe fruit (apricots). This is a rich champagne of strong character, with vinosity, keeping nevertheless all its elegance and delicacy, it is the very soul of Pol Roger.

This wine is the flagship of Domaine A and is only produced in vintages of exceptionally high standard. The bouquet shows classic Cabernet varietal aromas and the palate is long and concentrated.
CRE Pinot Noir Fortified Wine
After 30 years of maturation, the Charles Reuben Estate vineyard expanded in 2019 with the addition of a distillery, embarking on a new journey with spirits. The new venture led to the creation of this Tasmanian vintage fortified wine, crafted with premium grape spirit. The Estate’s vineyard consistently produces sought-after, full-bodied, deep dark red Pinot Noir grapes. The result is a well balanced, smooth, and richly charactered fortified wine, bursting with intense dark berry flavours. True to its origins, this wine is made without any artificial colouring or flavouring.
