Alex Russell is turning out some really exceptional wines under his new Russell & Suitor label. We're really enjoying the Franca's Vineyard wines ... they're juicy, delicious and very very moreish. This Chardonnay is a prime example - it would be absolutely stellar with a cheeseboard at sunset.

The nose lifts effortlessly from the glass filling the senses with vibrant and intense aromas of passionfruit, elderflower, citrus, white peach and just a hit of fresh nettle. PALATE: The palate is super refreshing, crisp and clean, with a trace of florals accompanying passion fruit, citrus and exotic tropical fruits leadig to a dry lingering finish. Crisp and dry, this wine is an idealpartner to seafood and less spicy Asian dishes. Try with freshly shucked oysters.

Andrew grew up in the world of wine and went on to work for some top names in Australia before settling down to craft really characterful, great value wines like this one, under his own name. A small amount of fermentation in oak has lent The Full Fifteen Chardonnay lovely toasty nuances, a nutty complexity and a soft creamy character.

The palate is supple and fruit driven with a mout-filling burst of spicy, dark berry fruit flavours wrapped in fine tannins before a bright, lifted finish.

This wine is bright straw in colour. Aromas of peach, papaya and apricot jump from the glass with subtle notes of oak in the wake. The palate is full bodied and fruity with great texture and a delightful creaminess as a result of four months on yeast lees. Served perfectly with creamy fish pie with a side of green beans. This wine was pressed from its skins early, before the end of fermentation. Its a technique thats perfectly captured plush fruit flavours and a velvety structure.
