Widely regarded as New Zealands most original gin, Reid+Reid Gin is distilled in a small batch, craft distillery located in the heart of Martinborough New Zealand. Its mission is to produce a world class, unique, New Zealand gin, distilled with native botanicals. A classic dry gin with a New Zealand accent. Nordés is produced slowly and with great care. A carefulselection of the best neutral alcohols, together with the useof white Albariño Galician grapes, are the indispensablebase of our gin, giving Nordés its unmistakable fresh andsoft character. The distilling process is enhanced with themaceration of 11 botanical elements.Among them, the presence of 6 native Galician herbs -suchas sage, lemon verbena, laurel, peppermint, eucalyptus anda sea plant, the glasswort- which give the product its uniquely fresh and aromatic character. It also incorporates juniper, cardamom, ginger, hibiscus and black Ceylon tea.An intensely aromatic gin, with delicate notes of white fruit in harmony with balsamic notes of mint, eucalyptus and bay, accompanied by a subtle note of juniper. This Barrel Aged Gin combines two great aspects of the Wairarapa: native bush and Pinot Noir. Four Pillars Navy Strength is a gin very much in the style of the Rare Dry Gin but with the volume turned up slightly beyond 11. At 58.8% ABV the gin can support some more robust and interesting botanicals, so there are three new botanicals that are both new (and fresh), including fresh turmeric and ginger. Together they have heightened the spiciness of the gin, and the turmeric in particular has added weight and a lovely earthiness to the palate. Also in the botanical basket about half the normal oranges have been replaced with some explosive native finger limes, grown in Byron Bay. They have an intensity of flavour and acid that is almost impossible to believe, and in the basket they help the gin attain super citrus notes and lovely high-toned freshness.

A bold nose of vanilla, juniper-spice fortified and defined by wormwood-driven herbaceous tones and surrounded with an ever-present floral veil. The upfront palate is commanded by a confectionery juniper-come-aniseed flavour that stretches full with rounded mouthfeel, leaving a warm finish decorated with cinnamon and almond nuttiness. A rich experience, as gentle as a 69% spirit could possibly be.

A delicate citrus/floral nose of fresh lime, guava and lavender warmth, given tension from herbal tones of pink peppercorn, lemon myrtle and the unmistakable, yet light scent of wormwood. Blood orange and peppery juniper set the tone on the palate with a fine interplay of refreshing herbal raciness and a pleasing sweetness derived from vanilla. Lavender floral and vanilla tones continue onto a smooth and elegant finish.

Our small batch Irish Gin is rested in casks made from Juniper wood. During this time the spirit takes on a beautiful copper colour and gentle sweetness. Juniper wood and juniper berry working together, that's what makes this gin rather special.
