Volcan De Mi Tierra Blanco Tequila

The original expression of Volcan de mi Tierra, Blanco captures the unique character of the region’s nutrient-rich volcanic terroir – redolent of grapefruit, black pepper and sweet agave. Volcán De Mi Tierra pays homage to and is named after a real volcano that sits in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico: El Volcán de Tequila. 200,000 years ago the Tequila volcano erupted and shaped the entire region. Its eruption covered the area in rich volcanic soil, making the area ideal for the growth of blue agave. Volcan De Mi Tierra selects the very best 100% blue weber agave from the Lowlands and the Highlands of the Jalisco region blended to create the most complex yet elegant tequila, with crisp flavours of the heart of the agave.

Abasolo El Whisky De Mexico Corn Whisky

Abasolo El Whisky De Mexico Corn Whisky is crafted and distilled from 100% Mexican Cacahuazintle (kaka-wha-sint-lay) corn, which has been cultivated and passed down for more than 200 generations by local farmers for its distinct and extraordinary flavour. Abasolo uncovers the deepest flavours of this ancestral corn through nixtamalization, a 4,000-year-old cooking technique never before used in whisky production, but fundamental in preparing corn as food in Mexico. While American bourbon makers use at least 51% corn and a percentage of barley, the nixtamalization process allows Abasolo to use 100% corn to make whisky. The nixtamalization process also has a direct impact on flavour, causing the spirit to open up with more floral sweetness and warmth of the grain. Made from GMO-free corn this gluten-free whisky has deep, nuanced notes of roasted corn, honey, vanilla, black tea and leather. These flavours are developed from the ancestral corn through the nixtamalization process and these flavours are unlike any other whisky.

Artesanal Cupreata Citrus

Artesanal Cupreata Citrus 500mL 45% 100% Wild Agave Papalometl. 100% Genuine Artisanal Craft Produced Agave Distillate. Artesanal was borne to exclusively represent and support female and ultra small mezcal producers who incorporate. sustainable organic farming practices and genuine artisanal craft production methods in remote areas of Mexico. As the majority of female & ultra small producers are financially and technologically not capable of registering their IP as a commercial brand to gain “mezcal” certification from the CRM (Consejo Regulador de Mezcal); they are disavowed and marginalised by their Government, legally blocking them from selling their distillates in Mexico or exporting them to International markets with their products containing the word “Mezcal”anywhere on their bottle labels. The Mexican law stipulates that their products be classified as “Aguardiente de Agave” or “Destilado de Agave” despite employing and incorporating the same artisanal production processes outlined in mezcal production under the NOM 070 (Norm Official Mexicana 070). The Artesanal brand aims to empower female & ultra small produces in a celebration of their prized art while educating consumers by providing all necessary information required to identify, and find a great quality agave distillate. On the back label of each of our bottles, you will find information on the agave varietal type, the artisans who made it, the villages they are from, and all the relevant details of the artisanal craft production processes utilised in their production.
