Today the domaine produces wine from some 65 appellations with 85% of the production being white wine. CULLEN WINES Legacy Series Sauvignon Blanc, Margaret River The Legacy Sauvignon Blanc in Cullen's artisanal range of wines defines the highest quality and sets the direction for the Cullen Wines brand. The conditions for the 2019 vintage created wines of incredible aromatics and elegance, yet with great power. Light gold with green tinges in colour, the aromatics whirl with notes of freshly cut grass, blueberries, lemon, and kaffir lime. The palate has a bright and refreshing acidity, trailing through with crisp lemon, kaffir lime, and an excellent mouthfeel and texture. There is a beautiful phenolic tension driving the flavours right to the back palate. Tremendous length and agility with enduring perfume and charm. An iron fist in a velvet glove.

Gary Farr is still one of Victoria's true Chardonnay maestro's and his Chardonnay By Farr is another example. Taken from the original By Farr vineyard, this is a clearly a wine of true clarity and finesse. Flavours of melon and hints of spice with wonderful oak integration mean this wine is simply delicious upon release, but handle some careful medium-term cellaring.

Kumeu River Maté's Vineyard Chardonnay is named in honour Maté Barjkovich after he reworked a unique parcel of land in 1990 which was planted to Chardonnay. The resulting wines today are a pure balance between texture and purity. Lifted notes of pear and citrus are complimented by creamy mouthfeel and balanced acid. A fantastic example of a modern new world style.

Houghton Gladstones Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful example of well established wineries in the Western Australian wine scene with access to some amazing vineyards sites within the Margaret River. On show here are marvelous aromas and flavours of bay leaf, black tea and some spicy mocha notes. Excitingly dense on palate with harmonious oak balance and impressive acidity. A brilliant wine.
