This beautiful wine displays an attractive ruby red colour in a glass. The well balanced bouquet emits medium intensity fragrances of blackberry, dried herbs and earth. It offers coffee, toasted oak and vanilla characters towards the end. The nose smoothly makes way for a lush palate, filled with flavours of juicy forest fruits and soft vanilla, leading to savoury notes. Together with palate coating tannins, these characters culminate in a cocoa and coffee dominated finish.

Collaboration Cabernet Sauvignon by Xanadu

The 2018 vintage was sourced from select parcels of fruit that was primarily Xanadu Estate grown on our Boodjidup vineyard. The wine was maturated for 14 months in 20% new French oak barrels creating a generously vibrant, full bodied wine with juicy blackcurrant, cassis and dark chocolate flavours, interwoven with hints of spicy oak.

From the highly regarded wine making team at Pierro comes this more than worthy second label. Expressive red berry characters on the nose are intermingled with nuances of blood plum, and on the palate these flavours are underpinned by subtle oak.

Voyager Estate Girt By Sea Cabernet Merlot

Lifted floral berry fruit aromas with hints of spice and vanillan tones that flow through to dusty cedarnotes from the fine-grained French oak. A rich, smooth palate with complex layers of red and dark berry fruits. The palate is soft and juicy withhints of vanilla, spice and chocolate, supported by fine-grained tannins and perfectly integrated Frenchoak. A soft, fruit driven style of wine that is reflective of its regional varietal characteristics, displaying fruitpurity, structure and balance.

60% Cabernet 40% Merlot make this blend very approachable. The lovely rich fleshy fruit of the Merlot filling out the palate and complimenting the more leaner style of the Cabernet a luscious mouthful of red wine made to enjoy.

Rivendell Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The perfume is driven by a combination of violets, ripe cherries and cedar notes. A powerful palate of plums, black currants andnuances of bay leaf. Food Matches: rack of lamb, roasted vegetable lasagne ora juicy rib-eye steak. Peak drinking: Ready to enjoy on release but cellaring upto 10 years from vintage will find further complexity.
