A beer made for its sessionability, this filtered pale ale has been brewed to a drier style, with lower residual sugar to keep it bright, fresh and seriously quaffable. Rikau hops (NZ) were selected for the dual purpose of bittering and contributing punchy aromatics and flavour, adding flavours of stonefruit, peach and citrus to the palate. the addition of Mosaic hops (US) and the relatively unknown Blanc (GER) further lifts the aromatics with elements of fruit, floral, spice and earthiness.

Hornet IPA, the first IPA from Black Hops Brewing, is a beer with some bite to it. Dry, angry, and bitter, this is a modern IPA with a subtle sweet side hiding among hints of stone and citrus fruits, and the ever present hoppy bitterness.

It has a mild hoppy taste with a subtle sweet flavour. Unlike a lot of reduced alcohol beers it maintains a solid body and texture. It is an excellent beer if you're after the full bodied beer flavours without the matching alchohol content.

Hazy golden in appearance. Big fruity hop aromas of passionfruit, pineapple and pear are complemented by a smooth, dry finish.

Freshwater is an American Style pale ale, brewed using our favourite American hop, Cascade. The Freshwater is well balanced between the sweet biscuity malt and the thirst quenching hop flavour and crispy clean finish.

A big and juicy IPA but low on bitterness at 18 IBUs. Late additions give you the beautiful sweet and fruity Nectar of the Hops.. The beer has a piney, passionfruit nose and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel from the addition of oats and wheat. The hops give the beer beautiful tropical fruit flavours with hints of pineapple, mango and lychees. Nectar of the Hops is perfect beer for our warmer months.
