Usher Tinkler Wines Death by Semillon

This Semillon from a sustainably farmed vineyard in the Hunter Valley region was hand picked from 40 year old Semillon vines. The grapes were then fermented with skins, pressed, and barrel aged for 3 months in old Chardonnay French oak. There was no additions, fining or filtration of the wine when bottled. The result is a textural, juicy wine with a zesty dry finish, with flavours of mandarin marmalade and a hint of lemon.

Audrey Wilkinson Winemaker's Selection Semillon

Gorgeous varietal character with gentle white peach, sweet lemon and pear flavours. Hand-picked, whole-bunch-pressed fruit was fermented cool and blended early to preserve freshness. It is made from estate-grown fruit from the Audrey Wilkinson property. Alcohol: 11%. Closure: screw cap. Date tasted: August 2024. Drink: 2024-2026. Rating: 95/100.

Pooles Rock Premiere Blanc de Blanc

COLOUR Pale gold with a fine, persistent bead. BOUQUET Fresh aromas green apples and citrus fruit with a slight toast and biscuit characters from time on lees. PALATE The palate has clean citrus and white nectarine flavours with some toasty and biscuity notes. A long textural palate with a fine, lively bead and a delicate mousse.

Audrey Wilkinson Winemakers Selection Chardonnay

COLOUR Straw yellow with green hues. BOUQUET Lifted aromas of pear, white nectarine and grapefruit with hints of walnut and underlying savoury oak. PALATE The palate is bright and zesty with flavours of green apple and nectarine and a crisp line of acidity. The savoury oak is integrated and provides a textured, creamy mouth feel.
