Planted in 1946, the old Walton Grenache block is a monument to the history of the Clare Valley. Dry-grown bush vines were planted in terra rossa soils, allowing excellent drainage at elevation and with an aspect which captures the late summer sun. This wine is a pure expression of Clare Valley Grenache. Aromas of strawberry, dark cherries (almost Cherry Ripe), cedar-spice with hints of sandalwood. The palate is silky smooth and vibrant, redolent with red cherries, red plums, blood orange and chocolate. The finish is long, expressive and youthful. Plenty behind it to cellar into the medium term and possibly more. "Youthful, vibrant red in the glass. Exotic aromas of five spice, cola, blueberry, dried herbs and red cherry. Flavours are mid-weighted, rich and fleshy. There’s plenty of red and blue fruit drive, supple and caressing tannins and bouncy, zingy acidity keeping all in check. The Morrison Shiraz vineyard, for which the wine is named, is situated directly across from Kilikanoon's winery in the Clare Valley sub-region of Leasingham. The Cabernet Sauvignon with which it is blended lies on the opposite ridge, a spectacular vineyard which glistens gold in the morning sun. Basket pressed into new and seasoned French oak barrels for 16 months. It is silky and fragrant, with hints of mint and pepper and "It's in very good shape... 94pts" (Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion).

The Inclination Cabernet Merlot is dark crimson in colour with purple hues. The nose has black currants, dark cherries, and plums with a mix of toasty oak. The palate is full-bodied but soft, with flavours of berry, black currant, and plums.

Production: 2015 Vintage - 100 Cases Oak maturation: New & 2 Yr old French oak hogshead casks for 15 months. Handpicked and gently crushed just after dusk on a cool night. Matured in new & used French oak barrels for 15 months. A Cabernet with dense ripe red and blue lifted fruits and rich cassis and tobacco notes. Some spice mixed with earthy tones. The wine is full bodied and fruit forward with pleasing black fruit surrounding a leafy core. The tannins are fine and focused. Good cleansing acidity with an elegant but savoury finish
