The origin of the Affental Wine Cooperative dates back to the year 1908. At the time, 24 winegrowers founded the Natural Winegrowing Association of Affental. From this, todays Affental Viticultural Cooperative was created over the years with approximately 240 hectares of vineyards. This premium Rosé has been produced entirely from cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in two Canberra District vineyards. Vibrantly coloured, the wine has enticing aromas of cherry, mulberry and spice. The palate features a delicate balance of flavour, acidity, and fine tannin.

A slight textural and richness through to the palate leaving pronounced acidity, a character typical of cool climate vineyards.

Nugan Durif exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry with hints of aniseed and all-spice. A full-bodied wine displaying soft chewy tannins and a youthful fine acid balance with a generous palate of dark cherry and plum pudding with dusty chocolate, earth and spice. Durif is otherwise known as Petit Syrah.
