Harewood Estate FLUX Great Southern White Blend
Sauvignon Blanc meets Semillon and Riesling in a rare blend, a portion of which is then matured in new French oak. "Scents of lemon curd and quince, nashi pear and almonds. The palate is much more keen and quick, a zesty shiver of lemon-lime with pink grapefruit and faint almond/nougat notes. A vibrant, tightly wound and thirst-quenching expression on hand. Very pleasing."
Byron & Harold Rose & Thorns Great Southern Chardonnay
The Great Southern wine region lies along the Southern Ocean on Western Australia’s south coast. The pristine ocean and rugged coastline are only part of a spectacular natural environment that includes the ancient Stirling and Porongurup Ranges, magnificent forest, visiting whales and a multitude of wildflowers in season. Stretching 150 km (93 miles) north to south from Western Australia’s south coast and 100 km (62 miles) east to west, it is astually the largest wine-growing region in mainland Australia. From this stunning wine region, 5 Red Star Halliday-rated Byron & Harold, a' formidable partnership' (Halliday), have crafted a glorious “Charming and elegant" Chardonnay “... the bouquet shows apricot, Gala apple, lemon peel and cashew aromas, followed by a finely flowing palate that’s sleek and textured at the same time, finishing lingering and refreshing. Attractively styled with finesse and restraint. At its best: now to 2027. 93pts.” (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit).
Lost Farm Tasmania Chardonnay
Richard Angove was very lucky to have grown up in a winemaking family. Since 1886, five generations of his family have worked in winemaking and grape growing. In 2008 he worked harvest in the beautiful Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania. He just loved the landscape, vineyards and flavours of the wines. Many years later when the opportunity arose to work with a number of small growers to create a range of small batch wines, he could not resist the opportunity, and so Lost Farm Wines was born.

Danaris Grüner Veltliner
Austrian wines are seldom seen outside the country’s borders – which is the only reason that Grüner Veltliner, the nation’s finest white grape, is not better known. This classic example is from a small winery in Krems, a town with eight centuries of winemaking tradition. Founded in 1938 by members of the local Wine Growers Guild, it lies at the heart of the Kremstal region, where clay and limestone soils “imbue the finest Veltliners with a density all of their own” (Jancis Robinson MW). Hand harvested, the grapes are gently pressed to extract only the most delicate flavours. A classic ‘GrüVe’ with spice and green apple fruit and a white pepper finish, Danaris is ideal with roast pork and apple sauce, grilled fish or spicy Asian cuisine.
Alessandro Gallici Prosecco
Add extra sparkle to your weekly wine routine with this fresh, inviting Prosecco. It's full of delicious apple and lemon-scented flavour. After all, right across Italy Prosecco is the bubbly of choice and as much a part of daily life as gelato or an espresso. This wine is from northern Italy's Alessandro Gallici. He knows every grape grower worth knowing, every premium vineyard, and has spent his life making outstanding wines. We first met him when he was head winemaker at a large winery. Every vintage, he'd impress us, but he was also keen to go out on his own. We were delighted and promised we'd be his first customer. We're still championing his great wines today. His fizz is beautifully fresh and, served chilled, makes a tasty aperitivo.
