This is truly one of Australia's great Rieslings, and not surprising with the myraid of brilliant examples coming out of the Great Southern region in Western Australia. The Howard Park example has pristine aromas of crisp green apple and citrus flowers and a delicate intensely flavoured palate it is a pleasure to drink now or with bottle age.

Paringa Estate Estate Chardonnay Mornington Peninsula The fruit for the Estate Chardonnay is sourced from low yielding estate vineyards, some of which are over thirty years old. Constant attention to detail in the vineyard and vine maturity produces fruit of outstanding quality. The fruit is handpicked, whole-bunch pressed, and the unclarified juice is fermented in new (approx 30%) and one-year-old French oak puncheons and barriques. Tony Bish is at the forefront of high quality chardonnay in New Zealand's Hawke's Bay. This is unashamedly full bodied, with a broad nose of refreshing and bright aromas of ripe yellow stone fruits and citrus fruits along with an edge of creamy and nutty barrel-ferment and spicy oak notes, subtle lemon-curd and buttery notes. The palate has flavours of citrus fruits melded with creamy barrel-ferment and nutty, spicy oak.

In Margaret River, considered one of Australia's premium chardonnay growing regions, Cape Mentelle creates wines of plush texture, depth and power, yet balanced with a fine frame of acidity. This Chardonnay is predominantly from our Chapman Brook Vineyard,established in 1994 in the cool southern half of Margaret River. The cooler climate captures the freshness and vibrancy of the variety. Yellow hay with a bright gold hue. A tropical nose of yellow peaches, melon and mandarin. Generous fruit intensity on the flowing palate, rich with rock melon, pistachio, lemon curd and orange blossom, lifting with a zesty, crisp acidity.

This Chardonnay has been made from a small single clone block grown in the Robinson Vineyard at Tuerong. A beautiful chardonnay with great aromatics of citrus, white flower and sulphides. An interesting contrast to our Paringa Estate chardonnays from Red Hill vineyards. We have called this wine the Robinson Vineyard to officially recognize where the fruit has come from and to pay my respects to Hugh's efforts for growing such great quality fruit. 2021 is the first release of this wine.

Pinot Gris sourced from Dr Steve's Sangue di Terra (Blood of the Earth) vineyard at 404 Stumpy Gully Road. Made using traditional winemaking methods - handpicking and whole bunch pressing, natural fermentation in seasoned barrels and extended lees ageing. Classic cool climate Pinot Gris - floral aromatics, pear, citrus and stone fruit flavours and a rich fine palate.

Domaine Pichot is a 24Ha family estate in Vouvray on the right bank of the Loire, where vignerons dedicate their time to the cultivation of Chenin Blanc, locally coined ‘Pineau de la Loire’, to produce dry, sweet and sparkling whites. Demi-sec Vouvray is, after sparkling Vouvray, the most popular wine of the appellation and perhaps the most typical showing Chenin Blanc at it most perfumed and expressive with just a delicate sweetness balancing the lively acidity. Brilliant pale straw colour with subtle reflections of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced ripe pear, honeysuckle and quince scents are followed by some baked apple and spice notes. Showing good intensity across the palate are rich, luscious pear and baked apple favours which mix with honeysuckle, musk and spice. Refreshing off dry finish with a long fruity aftertaste. Drink over the next 5-6 years. Alc. 13%

This wine is made from Albariño grapes carefully grown in the vineyards at Val do Salnés (valley of the salterns) in Galicia, where most vineyards and wineries congregate under the Denominación de Origen Rías Baixas. This grape variety is characterised by its small clusters, early ripening and medium vigour. They are remarkable for their pleasantly impressive fine and distinguished floral and fruity aromas, of a medium intensity and a medium-long finish.

Shaw & Smith is a benchmark Sauvignon Blanc. This release shows ripe tropical characters with restrained grassy notes and crisp dry acidity. Delightfully fresh lively and flavoursome. Always a classic and always quick to disappear off the shelves.
