Riesling

Under Wraps Riesling

This wine is made exclusively for Dan Murphy's by a 5 Star James Halliday Winery. Watervale is a sub region of the Clare Valley renowned for its dry white wines from the Riesling grape variety and this Riesling is sure delight. Pale straw with silver rim and a glossy finish. Vibrant citrus notes of lemon, lemonade and passionfruit. Hints of sherbet, lime sorbet and lime curd. A fresh and clean palate with chalky acid that gives nice structure.

Two Churches Barossa Riesling

Rich, limey and dry, this is classic Barossa Riesling from Barossa winemaker Peter Kelly. You be hard pressed to find such a stunning Riesling at this price. Bronze Medal, Royal Sydney Wine Show.

Tolley Clare Valley Riesling

Tolley has been a name synonymous with the great wine for over a century. Known for a strong connection and understanding of the land and with access to some of the best vineyard sites, this Riesling from the famous Clare Valley carries fresh long natural acidity and mineral depth, with typical lime and lemon curd and full flavours.

Chaffey Bros Not Your Grandma's Riesling

Not Your Grandmas Riesling has just a hint of residual sweetness which works just perfectly here. Fresh and floral, there's ample citrus and orchid fruits with perfectly balanced acidity for line and length. It works perfectly with or without food. Born and raised in the Barossa, Daniel started at the Penfolds cellar door, eventually co-founding a wine consultancy. Chaffey Bros. was born from Daniels dream to revive the name and the innovation of his great-great grandfather and his brother the original Chaffey brothers who founded Mildura in 1887. Together with his brother-in-law Theo Engela they now form the new iteration of Chaffey Bros. They love telling stories, and each of their wine labels reveals details about the vineyard, variety, region or history.

Peter Lehmann Wigan Riesling

Peter Lehmann, icon of the Barossa Valley, has been churning out award winning Rieslings like it's childs play recently. The Wigan Riesling with all its lifted aromatics of citrus and white flowers followed by a complex palate that lingers has again picked up award and award.

Devils Corner Riesling

An absolute standout and not just for its affordability! This riesling features gorgeously punchy, vibrant citrus character and trademark Tasmanian acidity giving it great backbone. Immensely drinkable, with lemons and lime character perfectly complemented by palate weight. A superb cool climate Tasmanian riesling. The untamed east coast of Tasmania is home to Devils Corner and attempting to tame this wild environment is chief winemaker Tom Wallace. Tom previously honed his skills completing vintages in California, Bordeaux and the Hunter Valley. He now does so at the Kayena Winery in the Tamar Valley where he oversees winemaking for Tamar Ridge, Pirie and Devils Corner. Given how well reviewed this riesling was, we can safely say hes doing an excellent job producing absolutely stunning cool climate wines. Fortunately for us and thanks to Toms efforts, you wont have to brave the wild to sample this award winner.

Earthworks Eden Valley Riesling

This may be the best-value single vine wine in the country. The cooler climate wine is energetic and precise, rippling with zesty citrus and a bit of blossom, a dusting of talc and sprinkling of lemon thyme. It is a textbook Eden Valley Riesling.
