Sparkling & Champagne

Charles de Cazanove Brut Tradition Non-Vintage

With over 200 years of history in every bottle, its no wonder Charles de Cazanoves Head Winemaker, Christophe Rapeneau, was named Sparkling Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge 2017. We think its great value from one of the largest family owned champagne producers in the world. A nose containing confectionery notes (brioche, cocoa beans, vanilla) with strong hints of pink grapefruit. Superb freshness on the palate, delicious and structured with notes of toasted oak.

Cloudy Bay Pelorus Rose Brut

A beautifully orchestrated sparkling, this bright, salmon-pink wine has a fine bead and aromas of honeyed red fruits with some delicate toasty notes too. The palate is bright and flavoursome, with strawberry biscuit flavours, cleansing acidity and a clean, zesty finish.

Yarra Burn Vintage Pinot Noir Chardonnay Pinot Meunier

Sourced predominantly from the cool Hoddles Creek vineyard in the Yarra Valley this blend of classic sparkling varieties is amazing value. The nose is rich and toasty and the palate is fine crisp and elegant.

Pop It Now Prosecco DOC

POP-IT NOW is a Prosseco produced with selected Glera grapes and other varieties allowed for the production of Prosecco DOC. Its modern packaging is inspired by a “Pop” style, glow in the dark label, making it the perfect match to enjoy at night. Pale straw yellow in appearance, with fresh, floral aromas of acacia, apples, and white peaches. The creamy mouthfeel is enhanced with an appley fruit sweetness, balanced by refreshing acidity.

Grant Burge Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut

The wine pours well with impressive mousse, followed by a fine bead with moderate persistence. Deep straw colour base wine. The nose is showing some developed character with aroma of yeast lees, cashew and biscuit with honeycomb end note. Creamy textured palate, with flavours of strawberry, yeast lees and biscuit. Clean acid finish. Creamy strawberry aftertaste. A very good Commercial style. Cellar 1-2 years (2009-2010) Alc/Vol: 12.5% First tasted: August 1999 A newly re packaged Methode Champenoise and at its price point, very impressive. Bright pale straw colour followed by very fine and very persistent bead. Excellent nose with distinct yeast autolysis and a hint of grapefruit and citrus. Full bodied creamy palate, excellent finesse followed by persistent biscuit, yeast flavours and crisp acid finish. Great everyday drinking.

La Tordera Prosecco Saomì DOC

Fruity rennet apple, notes of Mediterranean spice, vanilla and acacia. It is a well-balanced wine, very fresh, where the fruit aromas are enhanced by a good liveliness. Persistent and with an elegant aftertaste.

T'Gallant Sparkling Pink Prosecco

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Vintage

Veuve Clicquot has been producing fine quality Champagne since it was founded in 1772. In 1810, Madame Clicquot broke new ground by creating the first vintage Champagne, made of grapes from one single harvest. Veuve's non vintage is consistently rated in the top handful of NV Champagnes and delivers a powerful bubbly with a rich mouthfeel. The Ponsardin vintage is elegant with generous freshness and the Pinot Noir lends body to a very lively wine. On the palate there's layers of floral and fruity complexity that flows into a remarkably long and powerful finish.

Robert Stein Farm Series Rosé

Laurent Perrier Millesime Brut

The Vintage Brut is white gold in colour with a fine sparkle. The nose displays both mineral and chalky notes giving way to elegant grapefruit and white fruit aromas. On the palate it is lively, the wine has depth with a persistent freshness and notes of bitter orange and lemon on the finish.
