The Rozas 1er cru Garnacha is, as the name says, classified premier cru by Comando G. Elegant and poised, this wine is a step up in classification and altitude, sitting above the Rozas Villages vineyards close to the ceiling beyond which growing grapes isn't really viable. The brick-red tinge to the colour bring Langhe to mind, Nebbiolo specifically, and there are more hints of that in the glass. The colour and the approachability owe a lot to the greater presence of silt midst the layers of granite. For the 1er cru, the vines are older, the soils are lighter and the altitude of the vineyard is higher than the village showing that signature highwire Sierra de Gredos/Comando G acidity.

First released in 1953, this wine commonly known as Para Port is based on Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro, matured in seasoned oak barrels for around 28 years. The vintage date refers to the oldest component of the blend, which conflicts with current labelling standards.

Deep red with Burgundy colours. Aromas of rhubarb, raspberry, pink musk, Turkish delight and candied orange peel. Full bodied and supremely textured with layers of sweet red fruit flavours. Dense, long and chewy tannins that coat the mouth endlessly.

Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi Cantos del Diablo Garnacha Cantos del Diablo (meaning, Songs of the Devil) is Dani Landis 1er cru single-vineyard, or vino de parcela Garnacha that from vines that sit 850 metres above sea level near the village of El Real de San Vicente. This is one of the Like all of Dani Landis wines, the fruit comes from biodynamically grown, hand-tended old vines. These 60-years-old vines are sparsely planted and quite exposed. In this cool, late ripening area the yields are low producing the signature twin Gredos characteristics of finesse and punchy fruit. The wine is made with the same care as all of Landi's wines, both the 1er crus and the village style. Palladius is a blend of up to nine varieties, with Chenin Blanc dominating and adding freshness, from a multitude of old parcels and soil types.

High Sands Grenache is the flagship of the Yangarra winery. Its made with 100% Grenache and sourced from gnarly old bush vines that were planted in 1946 and situated at the highest altitude in their vineyard. The wine is intense, complex and expressive of type and place.
