Fortified Wine

Penfolds Grandfather Tawny

Widely regarded as one of Australia's benchmark fortified wines, the Penfolds Grandfather Rare Tawny rightfully lays claim to such a title. High quality blending stock has been lovingly matured in small oak casks, and creates a wine of immense complexity and depth.

Cockburn's Port 10 Year Old Tawny Port

Cockburns 10 Year Old Tawny has a bright tawny red colour. On the nose lively candied fruit aromas, combine with toffee, caramel and honey. On the palate beautifully rounded, with delicious mature dried fruits and hints of walnuts and almonds, exquisitely mellow and a long luscious finish.

Lustau Sherry Pedro Ximenez San Emilio

Almost black in colour. A pronounced and delicious bouquet of the essence of sweet raisins. The taste is very sweet, smooth, pronounced and delicous just like dried raisins or sweet grape juice. This is a very sweet dessert wine consumed on its own or with rich, fruity puddings. Also classically used as the sauce for one of the famous desserts of Jerez: ice cream with Pedro Ximénez Sherry. Serve chilled

Stanton & Killeen Classic Muscat

A superb value wine for its rich and sweet 'muscaty' and raisin flavours with the lightness and freshness of the foundation Rutherglen style. Perfect match chocolate pastry. The colour is deep orange amber with floral aromas of crushed rose petal, lavender and orange blossom. The palate has rich raisins with subtle oak and great length.

Emilio Lustau Pedro Ximenez San Emilio Non-Vintage

Ebony in colour with iodine highlights. The aromas are reminiscent of figs and raisins on the nose. Enormously sweet, velvety and soft on the palate, well balanced, with a very long finish.

Langa Liqouri Elena Vermouth di Torino Non-Vintage

Tasting Notes APPEARANCE The maturation in steel tanks gives garnet colour with elegant amber shades. AROMA Elegant, refined with intense bitter orange, hints of vanilla, gentian, floral and spicy notes such as cinnamon, ginger, cloves and with a clear perception of artemisia. PALATE Intense and harmonious. Red fruits, long and spicy persistence and pleasantly sweet final.

Haselgrove Wines "The Old Nut" Fortified

The Old Nut Made from a secret blend of McLaren Vale fruit since 1981, each year only 1,000 bottles are bottled from the historic master blend, making this a rare and treasured gift, to be appreciated over time. Tasting Notes Aroma: Fresh lifted nose of spicy fruitcake, raisons, and dark fruits. Integrated vanillin oak and mocha with a hint of rancio from long term oak maturation. Palate: Round and voluptuous with intense spice notes balanced with a nutty and creamy palate. Integrated spirit is balanced with fruit intensity and a refreshing acidity runs through the length of the palate. Subtle mocha and vanilla notes intensify on the finish and match the nutty characters of the wine giving great length and power.

Penfolds Fortified Grandfather Tawny

Penfolds Fortified Grandfather Tawny has intense nose with fruitcake, liquorice, raisin, and roasted walnuts all blending together with a seamless freshness contradicting age. A classic Penfolds palate with fruitcake, liquorice and vanillin oak flavours with a sweet full and round mid-palate, and a finish that persists on and on. With each vintage, varietal batches are selected for Grandfather. These batches are individually aged in seasoned old oak casks before being blended together at 14 years of age. This blend is then introduced into the ‘Grandfather Solera’.

Mancino Secco Vermouth

Infused with 19 botanicals on a Trebbiano si Romagna wine base. Nose of Mediterranean herbs with delicate aromas of lemongrass and Iris. Flavours of pimento and nutmeg on the palate with a subtle citrus finish. Super dry and perfect for a dry gin martini.

Mancino Chinato

Giancarlos hybrid of the three Mancino Vermouths, Secco, Bianco and Rosso centered on Erede di Chiappone Armando Barbera dAsti D.O.C.G, with added pure quinine bark Calissaja, has roused a new tier of Vermouth.
