Established in 1826 by James Allardice the Glendronach distillery was one of the first licensed distilleries in Scotland. In the glass, this single malt is a deep amber colour with a cherry wood sheen. A delicate mix of ripe autumnal fruits on the nose - notably blackberries and red plums. Rich Oloroso sherry and candied orange segments. Spiced oatmeal biscuits and toasted oak fragrances bring excellent weight and balance. Resolute flavours of fine Oloroso sherry and bitter chocolate sauce, which has been spread liberally over homemade plum pudding. Glenglassaugh is produced using the highest quality of Scottish barley and traditional distilling methods, their key focus being on quality. While many distilleries have become highly automated, at Glenglassaugh their spirit is still handcrafted by a small, highly skilled team dedicated to creating the highest quality product. Only the finest casks are selected to slowly mature their precious spirit in their coastal warehouses until it is ready. Since 1875, Glenglassaugh distillery has sat quietly on the edge of the picturesque Sandend Bay, breathing in the North Sea air which flows through its warehouses and invigorates its sweet Highland spirit with notes of the sea. GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Batch 10)

Product Information: GlenAllachies very first bottling of The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength happened by chance. In 2017, whilst reviewing parcels of stock from 2007 and 2008, their Master Distiller Billy Walker was so delighted by the balance and depth of the samples that he immediately decided to add a younger expression to the core range. Their fourth batch was awarded ‘World’s Best Single Malt’ at the World Whiskies Awards 2021, so the bar has been set high as they introduce their tenth release. The GlenAllachie Cask Strength Batch 10 is bottled at 58.6%, non chill filtered and natural colour. Master Distiller Billy Walker was responsible for the production of this unique malt. It is a combination of several cask types including ex-sherry Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso, red wine casks and American virgin oak barrels with medium toasting. Makers: In 1967 The GlenAllachie was the fourth distillery designed by William Delmé-Evans and built by Mackinlay McPherson (the distilling arm of Scottish and Newcastle Ltd). It was designed to be almost entirely gravity-fed to run on reduced energy. In 1968, the distillery began its first production run. Fast forward to 2017, Scotch whisky industry legend Billy Walker came together with his business partners Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson to acquire the distillery from Chivas Brothers, bringing with them extensive industry expertise. Balvenie 25 Year Old Rare Marriages Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Product Information: For this range, malt master Kelsey McKechnie has made a small selection of our rarest casks, each of exceptional quality and unique individual flavour to bring together in a tun marriage. The Balvenie 25-year-old is blended from a combination of whiskies matured in traditional American oak and European Sherry oak casks. It has extraordinary depth, the perfect balance to create the most elegantly fruity whisky expression the Twenty-Five hints at the most sought-after Balvenie flavours – bold vanilla oak, crystallised ginger and sweet runny honey. The nose has a distinct honeyed sweetness with hints of brown sugar. Ripe fruits ranging from apple, pear to tropical aromas of mango and pineapple. Mint, anise and ginger accents. Seasoned oak in the background. Smooth and creamy on the palate. Baked apple notes, hints of tropical fruits. There is also a bit of liquorice and a pronounced flavour of baked cinnamon. Unlike many modern distilleries, Balvenie still practices floor malting, a time-honoured technique that involves spreading barley on the floor to germinate. This traditional process is complemented by the use of an on-site kiln for malting and peating, with barley grown on the distillery’s own farm, Balvenie Mains. This dedication to maintaining traditional practices ensures that each bottle of Balvenie whisky carries a deep sense of heritage and authenticity. The Balvenie’s unique approach combines time-honoured techniques with innovative practices, such as the pioneering ‘finishing’ method introduced by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE. Sullivans Cove 16 Year Old French Oak Ex-Tawny Single Single Malt Whisky (TD0203)

Product Information: TD0203 captures the essence of Sullivans Cove whisky beautifully. Aged for 16 years, 4 months in a 300 litre, French Oak Second-Fill cask. The distillery's spirit is on full display and thanks to the expertise during maturation process. This is an intricate single cask release, with gorgeous texture and a vibrant confectionery-driven bouquet. Bottled unflocked and unfiltered at 49.5% abv this cask produced a mere 402 bottles. The Old & Rare French Oak Second-Fill single casks have been matured for a minimum of sixteen years in a cask made from French oak, that has previously matured Sullivans Cove whisky. Second-fill casks allow for long-term maturation without being overtaken by the influence of oak or pre-fill. The result is a whisky of perfect balance: the signature spirit character harmonises seamlessly with the soft oak profile, allowing the fruity esters from the copper Alembic still, Myrtle, to shine through. In addition to the notes of dark jammy berries, aromatic spice and bright fruit, these whiskies exhibit a depth and refinement that can only come from age. Tasmania also has some of the best barley growing land in Australia. The combination of good water and good grain is the foundation of all high-end whisky. 100% Tasmanian malted barley is used to make all Sullivans Cove whiskies. The wash is brewed locally by brewers with decades of experience before being double distilled in a unique, Tasmanian built pot still (lovingly called Myrtle). The first distillation, known as the "wash run" produces "low wines" of about 20% abv. The low wines are then put back through the still for the "spirit run" to produce a spirt of around 70% abv. This spirit is then diluted to 63.5% abv before it enters into the casks for ageing. The majority of whiskies are aged in either 200L American oak ex-bourbon barrels, or 300L French oak ex-tawny barrels. Allowed to mature over many years in the unique Tasmanian climate - generally between nine and eighteen years. Nose - Fruity Confection, Hazelnuts, Autumnal Notes A vibrant, tropical and confectionary-driven bouquet opens. The classic, expansive fruity spectrum of Sullivans Cove spirit is ever present and enriched with unique mossy, farmyard nuances. Aromas of orange jelly, yellow starburst candies, and vanilla yogurt mingle with hazelnuts and hints of oregano. The oak is subtle yet full, imparting dark autumnal notes and creating a broad overall structure. Herbal accents continue to emerge, with clear notes of mint leaf lollies and lime – a combination evocative of Mojitos! Notes of old books rise from the base and point to the age of the whisky (and the age of the beautiful old oak it was matured in), and further citrusy-sweet touches of lemon and orange melt into an overall aroma of fresh homemade lemonade. Palate - Stonefruits, Wildflower Honey, Gingerbread Just beautiful. Full texture, waxy, incredibly rounded and broad. A flurry of stone fruits (warm peach and nectarine) rushes in. Immediately evident is the age. This is one impeccably well-integrated and textural whisky, something that can only be achieved through long-term maturation. The confectionery profile shines with orange jelly babies and gummy candies, complemented by citrusy and herbal top notes of lemon and thyme. A gingerbread note follows, bringing a sweet and spicy element. The palate is remarkably gentle, with the selected ABV of 49.5% carrying the flavours perfectly without any harshness. Additional notes of lychee, fresh moss, mint, and wildflower nectar add to the complexity. Finish - Butter Menthol, Candied Orange, Tawny Notes The finish is reminiscent of butter menthol and candied orange. Generous in length, and boasting the same waxy texture and broad structure all the way through. With time, dark tawny remnants emerge, while the ever-present Sullivans Cove spirit character reveals tropical notes of kiwi and pineapple.
