The worlds first triple malt, this whisky is produced with single malts from the companys neighbouring Speyside distilleries in Dufftown, Scotland. The term monkey shoulder dates back to whisky making heritage a condition that maltmen used to pick up while turning the barley by hand during long shifts. This is the fourth expression in the Glenfiddich Experimental series where Glenfiddich whiskies have been finished in sweet Somerset pomona casks. Somerset Pomona is a spirit made from a mix of juice and Somerset Cider Brandy, which is then matured in oak barrels for two years. Cask-finishing Glenfiddich in these casks delivers a fresh burst of orchard fruit flavour coupled with creamy toffee and caramlised apple.

Johnnie Walker Aged 18 Years has rich sweet fruit aromas along with toffee caramel, vanilla and a hint of smoke. Its warming and sweet on the palate with dark fruits, malty cereal, smooth creamy vanilla, fragrant almonds and tangerines, and a gentle smoke developing. A lingering finish brings notes of dark chocolate, caramelised citrus peel and very light smoke.

To create its well rounded flavour, Glenmorangie 18-Year-Old Extremely Rare Malt spends fifteen years maturing in American white oak casks, then approximately 30% is transferred into Spanish Oloroso casks for a further three years. Then both elements are blended back together to create a whisky with a rich bouquet and full, rounded flavour.

Uniquely finished for up to four months in barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean to create a luxuriously rich and indulgent single malt. After maturing the whisky for 21 years, the Malt Master adds even warmer and richer flavours by uniquely finishing this single malt in first fill bourbon barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean. The rum soaked cask infuses the aged whisky with a spicy warmth and indulgent vanilla and toffee sweetness, the character of the Caribbean shining through. This gives the whisky a sumptuous sweet intensity that is both rich and creamy yet still retains the unmistakable character of Glenfiddich.

Peat dried and matured inland for over ten years for a rich and smoky tasting whisky with a lasting finish. Some of our casks are matured in warehouses that are located further inland. The conditions here affect our maturation climate and help create a rich and smoky tasting style of whisky that we call Land Cask.
